Anybody have any experience with the magna flow product listed below? Thinking about getting this done on mine. Not to concerned about sound, just want to get rid of the crap tips the tremor’s come with. Thx

I ordered this kit for my Tremor, but could not get it to fit with the 35" spare tire. I even tried lower the spare and shoving it over as much as I could, still would not clear. I did have this kit on my '15 (Very tight fit also could not fit my finger between exhaust and spare tire) and it does look good and held up well. Really no difference in sound though.

I personally am not a fan of Magna Flow. quality is average.
Fit n finish is poor

What are you a fan of?
Sadly not many options for our 6.7s however as to the brands out there:

Borla and Corsa are brands that I like. They are easy to install the tubes are bent so they fit without "grounding out" on the frame. Most are T304 Stainless steel not 409 SS or aluminum "plated".
The flanges are thin on the Magna flow and don't bolt up squarely. The supplied hardware is cheap "hardware store" type and not corrosion resistant. Borla and Corsa have corrosion resistant specific hardware.

The Magna Flow products do not fit well, not made of the very good materials and the sound quality is poor.

I can say the same for MBRP and AFE. I have a pile of old exhaust systems in my rafters. All 409 Stainless steel. And rusty looking
Couple MBRP and one AFE. I probably should just toss them in the dumpster but will find some "sucker" on FB market place to buy them from me. Anyone need a cat back for a 2005 Cummins quad cab or JK Jeep high tuck? The AFE made the Jeep sound like a rice burner. The Drone on the MBRP was non stop. One positive thing to say about the Magna flow is the mufflers sound good on 60s muscle cars. I have had mixed experiences with Flowmaster. Overall the Flowmaster systems sound good and install great.

While on the subject on tail pipes does anyone have the part # for the sport black exhaust tip for the 7.3

Went ahead and did it. I was after the look and couldn’t be happier. Not to concerned about noise or performance.

I have magnaflow mufflers on my 7.3. However I had the shop bend and weld a one off system. Less than $700 installed out the door.

Glad you got it to fit. Maybe they adjusted the kit to take in to count or the 35" spare. When did you order or exhaust?
Local family owned muffler shop got it done for me. $800 otd
Have a Baja design 30” s8 light bar going on the front next week. Can’t wait. Check them out if you haven’t. It’s a must with cab lights ?

I was eyeing this exhaust system and this picture may have me sold. I was a little concerned about how far they stick out and if the tips would look too large but this makes it look absolutely perfect! Could you provide any shots from the back to see how flush they sit with the body? Also, is it holding up after multiple years?

Traveling at the moment. I will see if I have any good pics if not all take one over the weekend. It’s been on for almost 2 years. So far so good 🤫
😂

I ran MagnaFlow on my 2015, in fact I got two different versions. Both had ZERO fitment issues. Buying exhaust systems short of T304 steel tend to get surface points that "rust" but it's nothing to worry over. Rust belt folk already are forced to play against the stacked deck of the house. Those areas are horrible.

My two versions have the big single black tip, the other the twin polished tip style. I don't have any pics of either right now. I never questioned the placement or look of the tips. Great sound on a modified truck.

I'd run MagnaFlow on my 2022 without question.

For my 2022 Ford removed the resonator off the "over axle" section of the exhaust. So the DPF removes any sort of possible "drone". Exhaust drone is easily remedied with a resonator/muffler, or running a 5" pipe (on modified trucks).
I can't hear any reasons to think that running a aftermarket DPF back section "causes" exhaust drone.

I too would like some more noise as long as its not a droning noise. is droning an issue with the MF? Yup, way better looking.
Unfortunately everything i have read says that there is absolutely nothing you can do with a DPF back to gain any noise, fortunately that means that you also wont get any drone. Most of these kits for for aesthetics only.
