To those of you that are running 37” tires, I need to ask a favor, but it’s an easy one:
Please accurately measure your cab height, and measure from the ground [up] to the black, box-like antenna that is at the back of the cab, on top. I've found it is most accurate to lay something like a yardstick on top of [one of the two] the antenna, then measure from the ground to the bottom of the yardstick. By doing this, we take the guessing ("eye-balling") out of the equation.

The reason I ask is that I raised the header on my garage overhead door. My Tremor [now] fits comfortably (in stock/OEM form) and I would like to lift/level enough (¿2.5”?) to put 37” tires on my rig, but I can not raise my door [height] any more without going with an 8’ door

if several of you would provide a measurment, it would likely give me the confidence to proceed with 37".
Even though we have the same model trucks, there can easily be [small] variances between them.

Thanks in advance for this, guys!
I really need this info, and I believe this group can provide good, accurate measurements.

Don't forget that you have 2 satellite radio pucks on your roof.

Please accurately measure your cab height....and just so we’re on the same page, please lay something flat on top of your cab (like a legal tablet or a wooden yardstick, etc) and measure from the ground [up] to the flat thing you have laying on top of the cab.
I can add an additional ~ 1.25” to account for cab lights.

If possible, I’d really appreciate more than (1) measurement. In fact, the more, the merrier.

What? The cab roof has a swale in it for runoff?

I wouldn’t read too much into it haha. Just did a quick measure where it sat. Concrete def not in great shape or perf level. I would take the average of the three.
Mike, a sincere thank you for the measurements!

my original post was worded so poorly....I apologize. it originally sounded as though I wanted many different measurements of cab height (from one vehicle) when in fact, I am wanting a measurement from several of you, just to be sure the measurement each person provides is correct (not because I don't trust you guys; but rather, due to differences in overall height of our trucks...there are small differences in {different brands of] 37" tires and small differences in 2.5" lift/level kits, etc.)

I edited my original post and tried to make it more understandable

again, thanks for the info

If anyone else is running 37" tires, I would appreciate if you'd measure from the ground up to [the top of] the black, box-like (XM/wifi) antenna on the rear of the cab.

Thanks in advance
