To those of you that are running 37” tires, I need to ask a favor, but it’s an easy one:
Please accurately measure your cab height, and measure from the ground [up] to the black, box-like antenna that is at the back of the cab, on top. I've found it is most accurate to lay something like a yardstick on top of [one of the two] the antenna, then measure from the ground to the bottom of the yardstick. By doing this, we take the guessing ("eye-balling") out of the equation.
The reason I ask is that I raised the header on my garage overhead door. My Tremor [now] fits comfortably (in stock/OEM form) and I would like to lift/level enough (¿2.5”?) to put 37” tires on my rig, but I can not raise my door [height] any more without going with an 8’ door
if several of you would provide a measurment, it would likely give me the confidence to proceed with 37".
Even though we have the same model trucks, there can easily be [small] variances between them.
Thanks in advance for this, guys!
I really need this info, and I believe this group can provide good, accurate measurements.
