Thinking about changing paint colors

Ordered a star white lariat with bap on 3-10-22. That rapid red keeps talking to me though. Every truck I see in rapid red looks great!! Anyone changed their paint color and did it cause any delays?

Some have made color changes successfully but it depends on many factors. Your dealer would probably have your best information. These days anything can cause delays.

I wouldn't worry about changing the color, do it if you want to, most dealers have said order date matters more than priority code, and the dealer can always manually set priority back to the last priority

I changed my color about a month after putting my order in and my dealer said it wouldn’t cause any delays…but who knows if that’s good info or not. I say get the color you want!

Rapid red called me hard, as did velocity blue. Gorgeous trucks. I kept my original with Star white. So glad I did. I love the many colors, and if I could alternate every couples months, then maybe I would have gone the color route. But white is classic and timeless, easy to keep clean, and I love it. Glad I kept my original order/decision.

I changed from Rapid Red to Atlas Blue about 6 weeks ago. My truck is built and on its way. Paint shouldn’t cause a delay.

Same here. I have had other trucks with versions of dark red and bright blue under various names. I was close to going with Atlas blue since it was new and a tad darker. I plan on keeping my truck for a long time and agree with @Vecman that white is so classic it is a sure thing for the long haul! I love the way Star White looks and am absolutely thrilled every time I look at my truck.
