Sync3 update v3.4.21020

Anyone do this update yet? Took about 15 min to update but when I shut the truck off and restarted my SiriusXM radio wasn’t working. Still on the trial subscription. Interweb recommended a Sync master reset. That worked but you have to set everything back up again. Phone, presets etc.
Did some searching on other forums and it appears to be more of an issue. SiriusXM not working, excessive lag.

I’d do some internet sleuthing before doing the update.

Mine came from the factory with Sync 3.4. Everything seems to work.

Edit: I didn't realize there's different versions of Sync 3.4 - I think as long as mine is working fine I'll not chance updating the system. I'm perfectly happy with the features and function as it is.

I upgraded to sync 3.4 a while back, no issues.
Looks like that was to version 20196. Yours is newer

3.4 has been out for awhile. This is an update to 3.4 Can't remember what my previous version was but this is an update that came out a week or two ago. So far no issues but that doesn't appear to be the case with other vehicles.

I did this update a week or so ago. I don't use XM, so I can't verify if it works, but everything else does without issue. I am an Android user, not CarPlay, so I don't know about the microphone issue.

I'm on 21020, SiriusXM is still laggy after start up, usually fully functioning within 5 minutes or so.

Quick update:
Just did a manual update to version 3.4.21098, seems like it may be running slightly quicker now.

Still not confident in this update. 30 min ride to the airport and I had the “no GPS” symbol on the Nav display. Never been a problem before. Maybe they were doing some GPS jamming.

I do use CarPlay, but haven’t tried it yet with the new software. I’m out of town but will give it a try when I get back.

Quick question - I was looking at Cyan Labs to do my updates and it does show 21098 as the next upgrade, but when I select to download, it only gives me the option for Non-Nav for map updates. I think I do have Nav - as I can input destinations and turn by turn directions from the sync system. Am I not understanding the lexicon of the system or Cyan Labs software, or is something not right?

Thanks in advance for any help. I don't want to lose my Nav by updating incorrectly. 2020 6.7l King Ranch F350 with everything including voice activated navigation, except dual alternators and supplemental rapid heat.

Mine was having some problems as well. It wasn't immediate after the update but Serius/XM seemed affected. Was driving along and all of a sudden music stopped playing and I could no longer select Serius/XM as a source. After a while it started working again. Now it says it is downloading another update.

After about three weeks it appears the newer update sorted itself out. Think after the USB update there were several OTA updates as well. SIRIUS and GPS/NAV are working fine. Not as laggy

Mine was good right after the update. Now album art is only displayed at the start of a song on Sirius and then goes away while it's playing. Also, bluetooth issues with my phone sprung up again in Android Auto. Works fine through Sync though.
