Anyone into swimming, cycling, or running? I am moving into my training program and have begun cycling regular again. Not sure anyone else is into such activities.

If so - let’s chat it up.

I am more into 12 ounce curls and smoking cigarettes (probably neither is that good for me) :ROFLMAO: As far as physical activities, I do enjoy watching women's beach volleyball on TV.

Mountain biker here, and like Skidude I’m a ski dude too.

Awwww yea!! Looks at all the folks coming out! This is a great motivational thread for me.

I’m not on Zwift anymore, @Charlie_Bravo , but I use FulGaz during the winter months. All rode bike for the moment, but really looking forward trying some mountain biking. A friend of mine is trying to talk me into the Kokopelli trail. I think that could be fun.

For tri, I started sprints a while back, and found them to be pretty intense - but man, do I get worked up. I had to really chill out during that swim to avoid drowning.

I was worked hard and finally tried (and successfully) finished a 70.3. I signed up for IM Lake Tremblant, but COVID happened and the borders closed. Now working towards Lake Placid, 140.6.

I mountain bike and I run. I wouldn’t call myself a runner though since I hate it, but I run 3 miles everyday and twice a month I’ll do long runs of 10-12 miles. I don’t enjoy it, but I have yearly PT tests for work, so it’s something that I have to stay up on. I swear the only way to run well is to run. No way around it

You’re right about that, and your body will thank you. The cool thing I learned is cycling crosses to running - but not the other way around. So if you want to break up some of those runs, incorporate some more cycling.

I run 5k or 9 K daily depending if it is weight training day or game days. Games are 3-4 per week depending on the schedule or if I am needed on an other team.
What sports do you do?

Current ride: 2018 Trek emonda SL6 with profile design carbon tri bars and Zipp 404s. I’ve been toying with getting a tri bike (and a mountain bike to play with family) but shit. Hard to find and super expensive knowing I’ll finish mid-pack. Lol 😂

My mind plays games on me. If I don’t run then I feel defeated even though i don’t enjoy it. It’s odd. I’ll admit it. I have a screw loose. It’s almost like I feel like I let myself down. I need to keep my mind calloused. Haha.
If I don’t exercise I get “crabby”, or so I’m told. So I totally get that. It’s like a serious withdrawal.
