My truck will be at the dealer any day now and I still can’t make up my mind on wheels! Truck is Magnetic and I’m torn between bronze and black wheels. Leaning towards 17’s, but haven’t ruled out 18’s and 20’s yet. Going back and forth between +18 offset and 0 offset and everything in between. The method 305 is the safe bet, but the bronze Innov8 wheels look killer, but a expensive gamble. If you had the choice what setup would you pick? Irregardless of cost? Any other trucks with bronze wheels out there for inspiration? Post them up! Thanks

Go with your gut! Get the bronze if you like them. I went with 17×8.5 zero offset and will be slapping Toyo MT's on. Neg 12 looks okay, but sticks out a little farther than I personally like for a 12.50 tire.

Why go down from factory 18s to 17s? Not much of a sidewall gain. You'd have to change our your spare then too, FYI.

I agree...18X9 is way to go.......+18 oFFset or +12......otherwise they are gonna stick out to far,,,,,,,

IMO, color and style is a personal choice. I would however agree with this post that 18x9, +12 or +18 offset is the exact way to go. Not too much (17") or too little (20") rubber and doesn't stick out too far. Any less offset and every time you drive in the rain, mud, or snow, you are going to get crap slung down the side of your truck and into your window felts to scratch the hell out of your glass.

And lesson learned for me. Even with +18 offset, I am slinging small rocks into the side of my truck and into the rear factory fender flare. I sold my factory fixed step and installed AMP electric steps. While I love my steps, the factory step would have done a better job protecting from rocks. I think 0 offset or negative offset wheels, without mud flaps will trash the side of your truck.

Keep the 18" size I like the width but would not want them to stick out too far. for sure 12.50 width either 35" or 37" ( but they could rub)
There are some photos here of Bronze wheels and they look great, different since the factory wheels are black.

This all makes sense and is more than likely the direction I’ll be going as I drive a fair bit of gravel roads. Leaning towards a 2.5” Carli kit so the tires will be 37” tall, but 12.50 wide should still clear nicely. I like the factory rims and tires, Ford just messed up and made them too narrow!

I went with 17" rims because the ones I wanted didn't come in 18". The tire is still 35" so the factory spare should work fine.

I am no expert but the difference from +18 to 0 seems negligible. Something like a 1/2".

After reading this thread, I find myself curious. What did you end up going with in the way of wheels? Which size/color/brand of wheels (and tires) to you get?

After thinking it over way too much, and talking to Cody at CJC I decided on the 17” 305 NV’s matte black, I will be wrapping them with 37x12.50” Ridge Grapplers, I hope I like it, if not I figure I can run for a bit and decide exactly what I want and sell them, but I believe it’s the looks/ride I am after. Will be running them on a 2.5” Pintop system as well
