Could be several different things, loose shock, sway bar, steering linkage, etc. If easily duplicated, I would take it to the dealer and have them figure it out.

Have some one turn the wheel and look at it. You will probably see the cause. If just a loose fastener you can Snug it yourself and save a trip to the shop.

As mentioned above you should consider a dual front stabilizer. It will help your front end parts last longer.

Can you elaborate how adding resistance to the steering system will increase the life of the components?

Absolutely

You are running larger tires that are very " grippy" ( thats my technical term :ROFLMAO: ). All Tremors come with an aggressive 35" tire.
The Tremor ( Super Duty ) like a Jeep is a solid front axle. When you drive down the roads there are vibrations. Even slightly but it's all the time. There are bumps and pot holes that you may not be able to avoid. This puts stress on the front end parts. The parts are tie rods and the drag link bar ends With an addition of a better stabilizer it can help your front end parts last longer. It is not a cure for the "death wobble" but will help the front end stay tighter longer. We have been doing this on modified Jeeps for years. The Solid front axle on the Tremor is the same only the parts are larger, so is the truck. Many here on the forum have even larger tires and some have additional lift. A larger wider tire will put even more stress on your front end parts. A very slightly worn end can cause a "death wobble" if you hit a bump at just the right speed. Trust me with a load and trailer its the last thing you want to experience. It can be almost impossible to tell if you have a slightly loose end unless you are on a rack and have somebody turn the wheel for you. You will see slight movement if you have a light and look close.

You can always upgrade your tie rod and drag link to a heaver aftermarket type if you don't want to get the dual stabilizer kit. Which I would highly recommend ( after you wear out the original).

I don't notice the dual kit on any of my Tremor and I have the adaptive steering option. Install is pretty easy and you can do it at home in your garage.

Check that your hubs are unlocked.....manually check them, after that it is a trip to the dealer!
Yup - Neighbor's F350 Dually was delivered with the hubs (unknowingly) locked - he was about to go drop it at the dealer for clunking and poor steering... I went over looked and then turned the hubs to AUTO and said, "try this".... needless to say, he was happy he didn't have to take his brand new SD to the dealer for that.
