Long time user of Lucas speed wax. Bought black tremor and wanted to step up the top coat to protect and keep looking clean longer. After doing a lot of online research, reading online reviews, and watching YouTube videos I found and tried RDB ceramic detailer. Highly recommend, this product is the best spray on detailer I’ve ever used. Truck looks better than new, repels water for months, and stays looking clean longer. Far superior product than speed wax, I will not use anything else again, highly recommended.

Which other ceramic sprays have you tried? That one seems pricey, and compared to others it's cheap.

Turtle, Nu Finish, Meguiars
These aren’t bad products, like I said I was a long time user of Lucas too. RDB just works better and lasts longer, especially for the weather I get in Colorado.

Have you used Griots ceramic? I’m currently using that. Seems to get the job done, but goes on greasy until first wash. Curious how this stuff might compare.

I haven’t.
In Colorado before and during storms dot puts down ice melt products that seem to remove any top coat you have on your paint the next time you wash. RDB has held up to uv, rain, snow, and ice melt so I’m sold.

Since all these fancy coatings are proprietary it follows that any comparisons are very limited in scope and largely anecdotal. I bought a cheap brand, Nexgen, because it was easy to apply. I put it on the front cap of my travel trailer and after an 1800 mile trip I can say with some degree of certitude that the bugs came off easier than normally. I'm very happy to say that the bugs seemed to come off the grill of Mjölnir a lot easier than normal. I'm not as convinced that it lasts as long as the expensive ones, of which I have no experience, but since it is so easy to put on I will use up the 3 bottles I got and then try a more expensive brand.
