I was going to install the dually center light bar thing on the back of my truck, and planned on tapping into the license plate light wiring for power and ground. However, once I lowered my spare, I came across four seemingly spare hard shell connectors.
Of course that meant re-evaluating my plan. Maybe one of these hard shells would have a better power and ground to use than the license plate light. But, where do I find what these harnesses are, and they have to have an actual purpose, right?
The first one is right by the 7 pin trailer light harness:
Two others, a six and a two pin, are underneath the frame rail in the trailer receiver bracket:
The fourth one is just inside the drivers side frame rail, push pinned onto the receiver bracket:
So, does anyone have a reference for what these are? Stretching wire isn't fun, which looks like what would be required for the license plate light wires.
