I’m at 12k miles on my 7.3 F-250, and these duratracs look half worn. I’m guessing I’ll make it another 4-5 months and have to replace.

I’m staying with stock wheels, and likely stock suspension. I may do a small level kit in front, but likely leave stock as I do tow with the truck.

I like the look of the duratracs, but do think the factory size is too narrow.

Looking for a very slightly larger or wider size, and recommendations on a new tire. I was thinking Ridge Grapplers since they are holding up well on my wife’s truck, and I do drive a ton of miles per year.

Depending on how aggressive you want to go, I've been using Toyo Open Country AT and AT2 on my trucks since 2006 or so. They last a long time 60-70k and are great in most conditions, especially in the snow. Some of the sizes have an "Extreme" moniker that adds deeper lugs and side scallops. Can't speak of having them on the Tremor since I just got mine, but it would be nice to know if anyone put these on and could give some opinions.

I went 295/70 18 which in Cooper STT Pro (full blown MT) is 34.5 X 12. They are slightly shorter but an inch wider. Will fit stock rims and same tow rating. If you go to 305/70 its the same height as stock but 12.5 wide. Tow rating drops to 3750 or something like that. According to Tiresize.com: will fit an 8.5 inch rim. Most 35x12.5 tires list minimum rim width as 9. (Why I mentioned 305/70 x18)

Why would tow rating drop? Because the tires are too wide for the rim?

Because that's what Cooper says their rated at. They rate the 295/70 at 129/126P (4080 lbs) and the 305/70 as 126/123Q (3750 LBS) Not sure why....most 35x12.5 tires are also rated at 126/123Q for load.

This is probably the same deal as the cargo capacity stickers on our trucks......they are all different but their the same damn truck!

Weight rating or tow rating? To drop from 15k lbs tow rating to 3750k lbs is a huge drop. Is this per tire?
