Full 34 gallon tank of 93 octane and I’ve got 202 miles till empty. That’s 5.94 miles per gallon. I’m running 37s without a Forscan adjustment, but this is weird right? Could it be the one hour of idle time I put on it lately?

I am stock and don’t put much faith in the distance to empty. I recently ran until 1 mile to empty and it only took 29 gallons. Either the tank won’t actually take 34 or the computer is giving a reserve.

Yeah it calculates DTE on 29 gal for some reason, probably so you dont run the fuel pump dry. If you are hauling heavy and doing a bunch of idling with the 7.3 she is gonna drink the gogo juice quickly.

Idle time will kill mpg forecast. I remember seeing 9-11mpg forecast on my Tundra during remote start season. "Normal driving" was about 13mpg combined and made a huge difference on my 38 gal tank.
