Let's see your house projects - interior or exterior. I appreciate some good craftsmanship as much as anyone else and want to see what you all have been working on. @Iron Man has inspired me to post a few after sharing his badass outdoor projects. Whether it's a hobby or you've been working through the "honey-do list", post it up.

Here are a few from the past 6 months:

Sprayed and installed front door
Finished stair ballusters, railing, and retread (still need some additional trim work)
Replaced basement windows and parge coated the exterior surround.
Built a 60" fire pit out of unilock retaining wall (8" of compacted 21AA below)

Next adding lights to the roping arena and then adding a new gate entrance like this one. With Spanish tike roof and 2 chandelier hanging down.

Thank you sir. The shower tile floor is river rock. That damn seat is Teak. I have my cabinet builder doing a bar and a large open area for my tack Rroom/ man cave. Them he will run a hickory band on the back wall to han my saddles on.
Then I'll tackle the main house cabinets. I'm not a oak fan. They will be all hickory with black granite tops.

Excellent! Very professional!

I did a tile shower a while back (need to do two in this house), brings back good and bad memories. Mine was a more modern look but I appreciate the classic look/materials here.

Thanks Don! Here are some progression photos of the kitchen. Still pending crown and a fridge replacement (need to find something that matches the pro handles on the DW and Wolf range without spending $7k lol. Maytag is looking promising.

I'll share additional photos once the backsplash is up, fridge is replaced, crown is painted and installed, and trim/casing is up.

Basically we gut the kitchen:
Removed that unsightly soffit
Relocated the plumbing vent stack into the upper floor joists with reinforcement plates and slope (original was not sloped)
Removed crows foot ceiling
Rerouted a bunch of circuits
Relocated the stove from center to back wall
Added some new electrical
Added 6" fresh air intake on a pressure regulated baffle
Added 6" exhaust for the range hood
Installed APC 42" uppers and base cabinets/island
Added switched island lights, can lights, and undercab lights with an occupancy sensor
Added Nat gas hookup for range
Tiles floors
Epoxy grout
There's probably more I can't think of.

I hired out the drywall, laser cut/formed SS range hood overlay & countertops
Rest was installed and permitted through me as the GC/laborer.

I love it. A very well detailed account of what was done. I wish more people would spend the time to give a detailed account of things.
Great Job doing up that awesome kitchen.

My parents are both from the old country and was taught that the oldest takes care of their parents when they need help. My mom did it for my grandmother until she passed. Dad has past so now mom will remain at the ranch till the good Lord calls her home.
But here is the best part I hid and installed this so when she passes the Lazer beam I know she is on her way over.

Made a huge difference - looks great!

This was actually over Christmas break - built the house and moved in in October. Got the basement finished over November and December.

I did have an electrician and plumber rough in electric and plumbing. Cheaped out on the bathroom but we'll redo it in a few years.

Full disclosure: I'm by no means a craftsman or a professional - I'm just a cheapskate who would rather learn and attempt to do things myself before paying someone else literally 5-7x more. I do get professional contractors for the parts I'm not completely comfortable with, like electric, HVAC, and plumbing.

Great work and a clean area to work in. 👍

Nice and clean job. 👌

Here's my new 50'x 80' shop under construction at what is my new home on 40 acres in the great state of Missouri. Once the shop is done I'll start on the house. I'll do all of the plumbing, electrical, framing and metal siding myself. I hired out standing the trusses last week and will have the same crew back to put the roof metal on in a couple of weeks. I dug the foundation, installed all the rebar, put in the underground electrical and plumbing and I have all the dust collection pipes for my woodworking machines all under the slab. I've been at it since July. Hope to have it weather tight by the end of the month. It will have a full bathroom and a partial kitchen in it also.
