I made a whiskey-induced purchase on Black Friday and bought a couple bottles of the Shine Armor Fortitude. It was overcast and cool, about 65*. The product was pretty easy to apply and buff out. I applied it about half a body panel at a time. If it was warmer or sunny, I would have had to work in smaller sections.

I applied the product to all the painted surfaces, all the hard plastics, and all the glass. I used about 1/4 of the bottle and think I applied it pretty liberally.

My initial impressions were a noticeable slickness where the product was applied. It was very easy to tell where the product was and where it was the factory finish. As far a shine goes... I didn't notice a huge difference. I mean, it shines, but I couldn't see a clear line between what was done and what was uncoated.

We'll see how it performs shedding water in the morning as it's supposed to rain overnight.

Overall, it applied like an old fashioned wax. Took about the same amount of time and effort. After application, it felt better than any wax I've used in the past. For the cost and ease, it would be a good between details product. We'll see tomorrow how it performs with rain and I'll be able to tell how much easier it makes hosing off dirt after driving it into work.
