Sweet! Tried to go on it about 3 weeks ago. It was snowing all day and we didn’t get on the trail until around 2 coming down from Canyonlands. Got maybe 2-3 miles and a guy in a Ram 1500 was sliding down one of the switchbacks and couldn’t get back up. A couple of Jeeps were going to help him so I backed up so they could get around me. I got over a little too far over into the soft stuff and was spinning. I was already in 4Lo. If I got on it too hard I was gonna get into the side of the cliff and scratch and tear the Tremor up. Luckily I have a set of Go Treads and was able to put them under the front tires and get traction to get back up on the hard surface. That was the first time I had to use my Go Treads and was also the first time I put the Tremor in 4wd so I was glad that it worked. Anyways, we decided to turn around. The next day we were able to do a little bit from the other end but didn’t have enough time to do the whole thing.

Awesome pictures! Driving this trail is what really sparked my interest in the Tremor. I knew I needed a tow rig but after Shafer Trail I determined I needed a rig that could not only tow but could safely navigate trails like Shafer.

We are heading to Utah next week although most of this trip will be in the Southern section of the state. Kenab, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon, Grand Staircase area. We might try to run up to Moab if time allows.

We are looking for epic drives like Shafer in the Southern section of the state. Any recommendations?

We may make the trip to Toroweap Overlook. Doesn't seem overly exciting of a drive (65 miles of dirt road) but it looks like the end result will be worth it.

Now, I know I am not a very hip dude, but I do know what some acronyms stand for. I learned that "TOTM" is Time Of The Month. As in for a female, you know, when she is OTR.
But that doesn't make sense here. Can someone fill me in.

Clueless

Here is what the trail looked like the day I tried to go on it. Thanks Dodge Ram 1500 with regular street tires, and no recovery gear for ruining my trip!
