Has it happened? Has the semiconductor shortage finally hit the F-series plant? Does this include the super duty’s? Any news?
 
I was told by a few Ford people that it was the Lincoln Navigator and expedition line at the plant that mostly affected

VW is gonna make 100,000 fewer cars this quarter than they planned to. I'd be very surprised if Ford was smarter than VW.

And one chipmaker told the Wall Street Journal backlogs were now so big, it would take up to 40 weeks to fulfil any order a carmaker put in today.
 
It’s happening everywhere.
I ordered some fixtures for upcoming bathrooms. Tubs are out 12 to 14 weeks. Door manufacturers are starting to give big lead times as well. It’s going to be a tough summer in the construction industry.
