This is a better article with more precise information. They're talking about Louisville Assembly, not KTP. Super Duty still bringing in the cash, that would be the last thing they would slow down on.

 
IPhones and other "smart" devices, even appliances with wifi, ect. We are going through semi-conductors like toilet paper. A lot of stuff using semi-conductors these days are throw away items. Sad

yeah....I don't now why....maybe cuz I'm old....but I just don't like that. if it was a digital rep of the needles that moved, I would probably like it better. can you get rid of the big numbers and just have the sweep?
I don't like the 0.0 tach. I'm guessing there's quite a bit of adjustment
 
Could also throw in America. There are plenty of USA chip makers that are not keeping up with demand.
Are there any chip companies left? I know a lot of manufacturers that buy thier boards and chips from China. They say that the US companies just aren't as good quality wise. I'm not trying to debate usa made products just that, that particular industry has moved away from the US.

I think so. Intel still has plants in USA. Texas Instruments is opening a brand new facility this year. I can’t speak to quality.
