Can anyone give me some advice on which materials work best for still being able to reap the benefits of the ventilated seats and also which materials make the function not apparent at all? Looking to order some seat covers but do not want to render any luxuries that I am looking forward too as pointless. Thanks!

It feels blasphemous putting seat covers on this nice leather but I want to protect them from grease and jet fuel from work. I put some neoprene seat covers on there and I am happy with them. I actually added a steering wheel cover, am I a complete grandpa now or what?

I had the Covercraft Carhartt seat covers on my 2015. The cool air on my butt and back did not work very well with them on. I put them on because I job I was working on had me getting very dirty every day. Thank God that job ended and I was able to take them off. I would avoid anything that is waterproof, neoprene, or other material that stop air from passing through easily.

Thanks for the advise. I just wanted to protect the quality of the leather. Luckily I am a project engineer for a GC now so I have moved on from digging the trenches and messing with the hydraulics on the equipment, for the most part. I might just buy a cheaper set of covers and only use them on hunting/camping trips.

I have the Carhartt seat savers. While the seat cooler isn’t as effective with them on. They do still work. Especially if you have them running for a bit before you get in. Overtime the waterproof coating on the backside will break down and they will breath easier

For anyone considering Marathon Seat Covers, they will be posting a sale code on their facebook page on Friday , Dec 31... no specifics yet, but they were 15% off last cyber monday - ?

I've heard good things about them, but they are pricey so a deal helps ease the pain ;)
Anyone here have experience with them?

I had a set on a Silverado I had a few years back. They are a very snug fit and wear like iron. When I took them off to trade it in, the leather seats looked almost like the day I bought it. I loved them on that truck.

If you have ventilated seats I wouldn't recommend them due to the fabric they use. I did order just a center console cover from them. Super nice on the phone, I put in an order to save my place in line. They shipped me some fabric samples just to make sure I was happy with no penalty for canceling or changing my order (I kept it as it was). Seems like a good group of people.

Not intended to be a shameless plug, but for those that don't want a seat cover, I make towels that are made to go over the seat. 100% cotton and work great with A/C seats.

I get a new shipment of the black/gray ones in the next couple of weeks.

Could also do a custom run of "TREMOR" branded towels if there is interest.

Originally made them to keep sweat off the seat after a workout, but they have been great for hunting/fishing/drywall.

Thanks Sludge and Something - happy to hear
the covers are solid and the people are nice !

I'm not sure how much I will use the ventilated seats... the ones I tried before felt wierd 🤷‍♂️ but something to consider.

I have samples ordered too, so I have a little time to think about it - and see what the discount is. Thanks again.

Can you get them with no logo?

Eventually, yes, but right now production is way behind due to supply issues getting the yarn for the towels.

I may be able to get a smaller quantity done at a loom in South Carolina. Any preference on color?

Let me know and I'll look into it.

What ever goes with marsala ??? The redish color. Have some giant beach towels I transfered from old truck. Helps to keep the fish guts off the leather and they are washable. Sort of did the same idea but my seamstress skills are lacking.
In Florida leather just take a beating with sweaty bodies. But it's nice when it cooler.

These are CoverKing Ballistic Nylon covers....Heat works good, cooling not so much, but with shorts on you slide right out of the truck in Hot Climates....and protects my leather....finally, they look cool!

If you enjoy ventilated seats, then seat covers will render them null pretty much. No way around it.....

Just talked about this yesterday on another post, "Seat Covers?" I ordered Fia seat protectors from Real Truck since they were not as thick as seat covers and the heating and cooling seem no different to me. They work well. Just went to the snow yesterday, worked great. Also used them a week ago driving to the bay area, used the cooling feature, also worked great.
