Roof top clearance lights

I am working on finalizing my Tremor order. Wondering for those out there that have the roof clearance lights... are they always automatically on when you have the headlights on or are they on their own independent switch option. I kinda like them but would like having the option to turn them off at times. A couple different dealers had different answers.

There is no separate switch. That are operated by the headlight switch and are on when the parking lights or headlights are on.

Make sure you order with the uplifter switches and then you can wire the clearance lights to those if wanted. That was the only thing I didn't get on my wish list of options- the uplifter switches.

So you put them on after correct? Are those the oem and do you have them wired to a switch now?

Yep, I ordered mine with the switches and confirmed was on order sheet, Ford missed it, doesnt have them and wish it did, very useful.

Where did you find the best place to tap into the parking / headlight wire fort the Upfitter Switch?

I did not tap into the lights. I wanted to be able to run these alone. I used the 1st upfitter switch. Wire is Brown with green trace in the wire bundle under the fuse bank to the right of the battery. I gorinded it to the fire wall on an existing ground.

We are new to owning a tremor, ours seem to be tied to the headlights.

These run with the rest of the running lights.
