Regrets ordering or wish you did…

I am probably in 7 day count down to placing the order. I was trying to actually drive one with the 7.3 but does not look like it will happen for me. With that said what do you wish you ordered or regretted ordering. I already learned about the blackout only in Lariat which I will do. Safe I will do, looking for the final tweaks , I am 99.8% there. I landed on Star white color, and will get the fender flares I think

Kicking myself in the ass for not getting the lariat sport package. It looks great (carbonized gray). Don’t know if you can get it, but with black package will look sweet.

I didn’t want to pay the money to have the paint protection on the grill and bumper. My neighbor has color matched and all i notice are the rock chips on his bumper. But oh well. Live and learn. Still love the truck.

I go back and forth on not having clearance lights on top. I ordered the truck without it, but the more I see pictures of the trucks on here with them, the more I wish I got them.

Do not regret not getting a diesel. Love my 7.3. Did not do carpet delete and generally doesn’t effect my life however if you’re on the fence I would say delete the carpet. I occasionally regret not getting clearance lights but that’s purely esthetic and sometimes I like how they look.

Only really big regret… being a dumbass and not getting the full camera kit I was being cheap and it also generally doesn’t effect my life but that’s the only thing I would absolutely go back and change. Post mad faces in likes if you agree that I am a dumbass for not getting that. It will only reinforce my crippling regret.

@ccw I think me and @soop have the only two tremors in the country with carpet which should some day make them incredibly rare.

Unless it's a working truck, I see no reason to delete the carpet... The plastic floor is ugly, loud, and largely unnecessary for a general use vehicle. I get there are those who love the idea, and I'm glad it's available for them. It hasn't even occurred to me to mind having carpet.

I didn't order roof clearance lights, I find myself thinking about them, but I'm a bit ambivalent. I might add them in the future.
I wish I had chosen Star White or Velocity Blue. I regret Antimatter Blue every. single. time. I look at the truck... It's constantly dirty, and the grey looking matte trim stands out against the deep blackish-blue exterior, making the plastic look old and faded. The effect is all but invisible in all the lighter colors.

Otherwise, it seems to be a good truck, and I'm glad I got the 2021 over the 2022... It just sucks that I'll either be wrapping the truck next spring, or painting it; I hate the color that much.

I wish I had ordered the block heater and the upgraded alternators. I'll add the block heater since it is an easy addon.

Love every bit of my truck! I do wish I would have been able to get the intelligent access and push to start. Just didn't want any of the other parts of the Lariat ultimate package.

Not my first time to this rodeo. I was adamant about not getting a Sunroof or Painted Bumpers. King Ranch Ultimate includes a Sunroof. Platinum includes Painted Bumpers. Lariat Ultimate was my only choice.

I regret missing the 60W option to get the heated steering wheel. Totally overlooked it on the order guide since it was listed under exterior options with the rain sensing wipers. It did not show up on the online build and price configurator at the time I put my order in either. No excuses though, it was my miss and I almost have it recreated on my truck - last piece is en route this week. It is much more expensive vs. the option price so if you want it, get it with the truck now!!
