Up for sale is my Reese 5th wheel sliding hitch with universal bed mounting bars its a sliding model for trucks with 6.4' bed. Used to move my 5th wheel RV 11,300 dry 14,000 full up north to our campsite once in spring and one trip in fall to return the unit. It's like brand new never even been rained on. I used a dry plate so its not a greasy mess.
The only reason I am selling is because the new Tremor has the goose neck/5th wheel option with the puck style mounting holes in the bed.
So i purchased a new hitch.
This would be good for somebody that does not have the factory provisions for a 5th wheel. It will work with any bed, Ford, Chevy or Dodge.
you will need to drill some 1/2" holes in the bed to mount the bars. They stay in the truck and the 5th wheel unit comes out fast with 4 pins.
I like this hitch because you can easily remove it by yourself, it is easy to use and hook up and never had any issues with it. You can figure most sliding units will be around $1,000 new ( unless you have a connection and I know some of you do). Price is $500.00
