REDUCED POWER ??

I remember previous threads about their truck going into reduced power. What was the cause, if someone could refresh my memory. ?

I do believe there is a few different aliments that can cause "limp mode", both with the gas and diesel.

I have not heard of anyone having the issue with 2020 or newer models but the diesel can go into limp mode for some these reasons:
Any number of check engine light/codes thrown
DEF fluid empty
Exhaust filter clogged or needs Regen (must be at 200% to go into limp)

The last one seems to be the common issue. The best way to prevent that is to avoid short trips or if you do have a decent long trip once per week to clean it out.
