Hammerlocks installed! :D

I chucked up the pin in a drill and ground a better chamfer on the end. I also used Loctite copper anti seize.

I was just planning on grinding in a chamfer when I get mine. Your attempts confirm that is the correct step. Thanks! Did you go with a specific brand?

This is the exact one I bought, which includes shipping. I opted for these since they're top notch Peerless brand and made in Italy. The pins do have a small chamfer already on them, but not enough IMO, so I just made the chamfer longer. Still took a few good whacks with a 3 lb sledge but was much easier.

Finished installing both the Jimmi Jammer tailgate keeper as well as the hood latch guard.

Threads are located here so others can find them more easily:

According to FordPass my fronts are at 50, 49 and rears are at 60, 60. That is cold. No tire pressure warning - what is the factory setting?

Note: I have not changed anything via Forscan yet...

I can't remember the default values before I changed them. I 'think' they were 60 front and 75 rear.

I got my Forscan mods done. For now, this is all of them:
  • Bambi Mode (Fog light on with High beams)
  • Turn signal flash count set to 7
  • Disable door ajar and seat belt chimes
  • Disable triple start-up ding
  • Disable double honk with fob outside of vehicle
  • Disable double honk with fob locked inside of vehicle
  • DPF % screen

I was able to unplug the motion sensor module in the overhead console, so now I won't be bothered every time the truck is shut off to set it to 'Perimeter only' since it doesn't keep the setting persistent.

Lots of flying insects around here that would trip it easily. One of my favorite mods so far!

Did you do this yourself? I may need help when mine arrives.

Contacted a local vehicle vinyl place today to wrap my chrome tailgate 'handle'.

They said they're not interested. WTF happened to small businesses.
Had a $500+ ceramic tint job scheduled for 9am today. The guy never showed up to open up the shop or return my calls. I hear ya... No more supporting local small biz for me. Scheduled in a bigger city at a bigger shop.

I'm literally torn on the blacked out Powerstroke badges; whether to do them or not.

The quality just isn't on the same level as the OEM badges and it's pretty hard to read the letters due to lack of contrast in the shades of black used for emblem and letter inserts.

The gloss black letter inserts appear to just be vinyl stickers applied onto the badge after it was painted.

Gravity helping me with the mockup comparison:

One man's opinion: It looks too much like a black bar to me. From some distance away even the F350 (or F250 depending on the particular model) in the vent looks just like a blob of black. I do like the black background, but would prefer some degree of contrast in the lettering so it was still readable from afar.
