Rear POD lights bracket hack for 23/24s

On the 22s the bumper was slightly tilted, so there was a need to design a bracket that compensated for the tilt. Legmar created and sold one on the forum.

On the 23s that issue is no longer there, the bumper is horizontal and the bracket is much easier to adopt.

Here’s how i created mine if someone wants to replicate it, at least with Diode Dynamics pods it works perfectly fine. But i’m sure it will work with BD, rigid or other lights too.

I simply used leftover bracket from a Builtright kit, you can get them here:


I wanted a bracket that is NOT VISIBLE at all unless one gets under the truck and looks for it. This one achieves the goal, the DD light sits near flush with the bumper, thus hiding the bracket completely out of view. There is maybe 1/8 of an inch gap. That was my main issue with the other designs…i saw too much of the bracket protruding.

Had it on for the last 3 months without an issue. And it works fine with the rear pull out step too.
