Anybody know of a template or the measurements on placing the 6.7L and Powerstroke badges on the doors? My truck was delivered without them from the factory and I have to install them myself.

It’s still dark here in CA, but after sunrise I can go out and get you some measurements of exactly where it is located on my Tremor.
Geez, your dealer is making you install them?
I saw some new Super Duty’s on the lots during Christmas that had cheap snap-in blanks in place of the front fender model insignia’s! The dealer told me that there was a shortage of them so the factory came up with the blank idea to get the vehicles delivered. The dealers replaced the blanks for the customers. I actually saw a few of the blanks available for sale on eBay! 😳🤣

They offered to put them on but I was picking up the truck because the badges came in the same day of delivery so it was gonna be a slap them on real quick by eyeballin' it situation so I elected to do it myself thinking there was surely some sort of measurement. I'm sure it would have been fine. I trust the guy I bought the truck from, but my OCD couldn't handle it...

I appreciate the measurements

A couple measurements. Hope this gets you close.

I know the feeling!🤪
If someone might be willing to do it, but you might be second guessing them, I’d rather do it myself. No one to blame but myself type thing!
When I purchased my three new diesel Excursions I just had to have the Powerstroke emblems on the doors! So as soon as I took delivery of each one (2000, 2001 & 2005), I purchased the model year appropriate PowerStroke badging and put them on myself. I got the measurements from the diesel pickups on the dealers lot each time and did my best to attach them.
Patience. Rubbing alcohol. Tape measure. Blue tape. And a lot of sweat on my forehead and I got each one done!😉😂

I see that Svenster posted some pics. Nice!
Here are a few from mine.
My help isn’t up yet so I solo’d it. A little shaky this time of the morning!😵‍💫😂

I hope these help. If you’d like any other specific measurements please let me know. I’m glad to help!

Best of luck with the project!👍

Got them on. Pics super useful. Thanks again. Posting all the part numbers for posterity as eventually Google will send someone here looking for badges.

Are we really still dealing with parts missing from trucks? How come everyone else seems to have figured things out, except the auto industry.

My f250 platinum badges just came in this weekend. I have yet to take the blank fender plastic off since I will be sending my badges out to get painted.

But my 6.7L Powerstroke badges are completely crooked on the driver and passenger doors. Also another thing that I want to send off and get painted so I haven't raised a big fuss about it

Cause we can't stop people from buying these vehicles with missing parts. Just think of the ripple effect IF we could get everyone buying a truck to walk away for 90 days or until they got all these problems fixed. That would send a signal. The problem is the people....not the companies.

That would probably help but I also think automobiles just might be the most complicated consumer goods to manufacture .. and they have to do it on a large scale (millions per year). Automobiles have lots of parts, they are partly built by machines, and part by manual labor, JIT inventory definitely is hurting the manufacturers and they can't vertically integrate overnight. .

tldr; it's complicated.

As a previous Quality Assurance Specialist I'm more than familiar with manufacturing processes. Add to your above post the shear number of vendors as part of the equation that you need to relay on to have their products produced AND delivered to your assembly line. Anyone one slips for a time as short as a week causes problems.

I had people mad at me over vendor products not shipping out to a DOD shipyard building Navy warships cause the metal used was from China. I told them send me an email saying they knew the problems, they were accepting the liability.....at least they decided to wait for the correct materials for the products. :)
