This is my first diesel. The dull exhaust tips look sad. Any options? I’ve looked around and not as many options as I had on my Raptor. Thanks.

Lots of guys are painting them black.....but probably not a good idea to change because the whole exhaust is tied to the DPF system

That’s what I was afraid of.

I went with a black DPF MBRP exhaust. It barely changes the sound of the diesel. I knew that and I didn’t get it for that. I got it because I like the black exhaust. Painting your exhaust is the cheapest way to go but I’m very happy with my set up...

I'll likely end up going with the 5" Banks setup - I like the looks of the tip allot better than the one that comes from the factory. And will set me up nicely for any future upgrades *cough* *cough*

Please double check. I’m pretty sure the 5“ Banks will not fit our truck. It’s because of the 35” spare. If you drop the spare it will fit but I’m pretty positive it will not fit. The 4” clears the spare tire by about 1/2 an inch......

I've asked Banks two times and gotten two different answers. First time was a solid "nope won't fit" the second time was a "well, if you loosen the spare and scoot it all the way over then we're pretty sure it'll fit". So I'm not sure. If it is truly that close, then I feel like there's some way to massage things to fit. I'd definitely be willing to give it a try.

I think if you can live without the spare, buy it because if moving it doesn’t work, you’re ok with taking the spare out anyway.

Banks 5” fits just fine. Had it on for a while now and not a single issue.

Aren't they stainless? Polishing would be an option.
