POWER STOP BREAK UPGRADE SAVED ME 5 TIMES

Back in 2020 when My order for my 2021 build was in, I researched everything I could. There was a thread with Chris that he had an accident with someone stopping in front of him suddenly. He rear ended someone else and someone rear ended him. He had complained about how bad the breaking on these very heavy 3/4 and 1 ton trucks were. He said he was looking into getting a better break system.
I was friends with Clint aka The Snake Pit Shop on here and loved how badass his truck was. I read on his build thread that he was running power stop rotors and pads on his ride. I hit him up privately and he hooked me up with the link of exactly what to get. He mods out cars and trucks and puts them into all his customers rides.
I got front and back Power Stop Rotors and Pads. It cost me 630$ with tax and free shipping. I had to order it for a 2019 Super Duty. Once my truck arrived I had my dealer swap out the rotors and pads. I still have a brand new set of stock rotors but the mechanic said he threw out the pads. I thought that sounded a bit fishy, but that is another story.
I have been saved 5 times already from these awesome breaks. Today we had to make an abrupt stop from some Stupid Ass Hole Youngster making a left turn in front of me. The truck stopped really fast and the kid just flipped me the bird like I was the asshole. We just got out of church from a 11am mass so we just shook our heads. My wife commented how safe she feels with the stopping power of my big truck. She asked me if I posted about these breaks and the close call we had a couple weeks back, where we were able to stop and 2 other trucks next to us couldn't.
There was an accident on the parkway. 2 cars were completely smashed up and stopped just over a hill. It caught everyone by surprise but my sexy beast was able to stop in time as a Denali and a Ram 2500 couldn't. One smashed into the wrecked car from the accident and the other smashed into a car that stopped in time of hitting the accident. We pulled over and the dude with the Ram said he started to break before me and couldn't believe how my 1 ton truck stopped before his.
I tool around pretty fast with my Diesel Rocket Ship. I feel really pleased with the break upgrade investment I made to my rig before taking ownership of it. I highly recommend getting a break upgrade. Weather it's power stop or something else. My Power Stop Breaks Saved My Ass A bunch Of Times.

What part number will fit the 2022? I'd love information on buying a set of these to have installed before it leaves the dealer whenever it gets built this winter...lol

I assume since the 250 and 350 are identical in Tremors, that the brakes are the same? Mine will be a 250

I have a 2021. This is the sight I bought the kit from. Clint @ TheSnakePitShop on out forum I’d such a great help. I’d hit him up with 2022 questions. IDK if he can help since they just are coming out but I’d hit him up privately.

I used a Power Stop brake kit on my 2013 F150. It made a huge difference. I also highly recommend them.

Well, good news is that I have several months before mine is built, so plenty of time for them to figure it out. I definitely want better brakes. I just hope I get the life out of them that my factory GM brakes gave. 68k miles and still didn't need replacing.

Oh, and thanks for sharing your experience Ironman. I never felt unsafe in my 2001 F250 or my 2016 3500HD 4x4 DRW even when pulling my boat, so moving to a newer F series I don't know what to expect.

Ok next Nick @ Oppollo Opotics sells bed covers, high idle kits, exhaust systems, and he said hdd Ed can get just about anything we need.
I have used another vendor on here, without naming names he was not what I and many expected for a forum member VENDOR. I personally have ordered a high idle kit from Nick @ Oppollo Optics and he gave me such great customer service and was a blessing for me and others.
I will tell any and everyone w was hat I truly think. My thoughts are why not use a brother on our FORUM that can help us out and give us the mods we can order from a stranger. Until this vendor doesn’t come through the way we would expect someone we buy our mods from, then let’s give him our business.
Just my .02$ cents. Either way do what works for you. ????????????????

I'd definitely support forum members that are fair. I won't be doing many mods, mostly because of finances and I will be pulling a bass boat most of the time and not off roading. But I will upgrade brakes, install LED headlights, installing LED light bars, and installing the badlands winch i received for Christmas last year. Beyond that, I don't see any other upgrades. Maybe a bed cover later down the road. If there is a forum member that is trustworthy and fair priced, I'd buy everything from them easily.

You uses brakes to brake, but if something breaks on your brakes it may not brake.

Excellent up-grade Ironman. For you guys with 37" tires, you'll especially see a Stopping improvement with a Brake up-grade. Those big assed tires are heavy, that additional weight has a direct effect on your braking. Our trucks were engineered using the O.E size and weight of Tire & Wheel. Change them, you change the whole dynamics.
Heres my vote for a group buy on a Brake Up-Grade ..

Also, I would assume 22MY will remain the same as 20-21

To my knowledge there is no material indicating the Tremor gets a different brake set. They mention the skid plate, so I imagine they'd mention a whole different set of brakes.

With the exception of Brake Boosters, I don't believe there's anything unique or different between F250/350 SRW Super Duty 4x4's. Tremor, FX4 or base 4X4. XL to Limited, Trailer Tow, 5th Wheel pkg, or Camper/Snow Plow, I'm pretty sure they're all the same.
