I have an XLT and thinking of getting my bumpers powder coated black along with a Lariat Black grill and Morimotos (when they come out) or retrofitting the Fords. What do you think of this front end photoshop? Too much black?

I always think the black bumpers are too much black.

I think it’d be hard to paint over chrome. You think they can color match the iconic silver with powder coat?
I have no idea... outside of my area of knowledge.

All that black just reminds me of a base level work truck.

I have worked with a powder coater on projects. They claim to be able to color match. The work I had done looked good but automotive paint seems fancier with the flakes etc.

My personal opinion is chrome!

Currently my truck looks exactly like this one although I’ve deleted the chrome on my mirrors already.

Gotta love Brandon Ford. They're about 15-20 min drive from where I live. I've bought all my Fords there since the early 90's.

Then there’s the opposite. The sport package for the 22’s has too much of the same color all over (Grill, bumpers and body).

Man I dig the XLT grill. If I had your truck, I'd color match the bumper and black out the middle rectangle portion of the grill that hugs the Ford oval. I think it would look really cool visually, especially on the XLT grill given how thick the bars are. The middle portion of the grill, which takes up half the grill would be black and bold. The top/bottom chrome lines on the grill would play off the chrome in the lights to make a large rectangle.
