POLL: Did your truck come from dealer inventory, or did you special order it

Mine was both I guess. It was someone else's order but they didn't take it so I bought it off the lot.

I'm surprised at how many were bought from inventory, seems like it would be less. I've bought around a dozen vehicles in my life from dealers, 6 of which were special orders, and honestly I've always enjoyed the order process way more than the searching and haggling process. Get what you want and wait for the "truck stork" to show up. Love it. Anticipation is half the fun in life. ?

I average a new vehicle every 2 years or so since about 1990. I have never special ordered and didn’t this time. Honestly, I was looking to get an F-150 Hybrid but when I saw my Tremor, we didn‘t test drive anything else. This is my second King Ranch (first was an older F-150) and man I love this truck.

I'm surprised how many special order, I've never done it and don't really know anyone that has. It's truck country around here so usually pretty good selection.

I wonder which way gets a better deal, I've often bought 'last year leftovers' and get up to $15000CDN off of them... but I was never one that had to have the newest truck.

I started out doing the builder for GT500s with my 12 year old Son and ended up ordering a TREMOR. How the heck does that happen!? Incredibly pleased with my truck and will likely get in far less trouble.

Found on lot just how I wanted it. No LED headlights either - I think the Halogens look better ; but I put in some Hi watt led bulbs, fogs, tail and backups.

I’m probably the only one here that never heard of a Tremor before, then bought it an hour later.

Stock inventory. Did a drive through the local dealer’s lot looking at F250s when I saw a Tremor for the first time. Knew I had to have one at that moment, but ended up driving 30 miles further the next day to get one equipped to my preferences. Very happy with this purchase.

Special order. We keep vehicles a LONG time. This partially replaces a 2001 Expedition we purchased new. Might be the last new truck I ever buy, and I wanted exactly what I wanted. Plus finding a Ultimate Lariat Sport Tremor with every option and no carpet was not going to happen.
