I’ve been having an odd problem with my passengers seat. My wife likes her seat completely deflated (no extra lumbar support). Periodically (maybe 20% of the time) when we get in, the lumbar support is partially inflated. It happens more often when she used the massage function on the prior trip but it will occasionally just inflate for no apparent reason. This does not happen on the drivers side (I also don’t use the lumbar support). Anyone have thoughts on this before I take it to the dealership? Anyone else have/had this problem?

Same here. Please update this if you find a fix. I thought it could be from me messing around in forscan, but it appears that I'm not alone here.

Same here. My wife complains every time we get in the truck. I told her to leave the massage off and see if it still happens, but she can't resist.

Did you ever find a fix here? This still drives my wife crazy.

I found mine had a similar issue. I resolved it by turning off the massager prior to shutting off the vehicle. Doesn’t seem to release air unless I do.

Correct! This solved the problem in my truck.

I think they use air pressure as the setting for the bladders. So, weight leaning against the bladders is a factor for how much air is in there.

I run my lower lumbar up one notch. If I get out of the truck, leave it running, nd close the door, when I get back in, the lumbar is pumped up a lot and I have to deflate it and reset it. If I leave the door open with the engine running, it does not add extra air.

I have just learned to live with it.

Interesting. What we are experiencing is that sometimes when we get in the truck, the passenger seat lumbar is inflated even though my wife didn't use the massage function. I will have to pay attention to the doors and engine on/off status to see if anything changes.

Check your batteries everyone. I had similar issues until I changed my batteries. The wife was always complaining her seat wasn't right and sure enough lumbar was always on without using the massage. We also use zero lumbar in both seats.

The truck batteries?

Ya the truck batteries, mine were leaking and had low voltage after about 7 months of ownership. Changed out the batteries with AGM's and have never had a problem since.

Interesting thanks.
