If I stayed with White I probably would have gone Black Appearance. Instead because I wanted the black headliner, and the Dark Marsala interior so that made me go Platinum but because the black Appearance wasn't available, I went silver to help blend the chrome.

So, choose if the black headliner, the massaging seats, and the option for the burgundy interior, and if they are anything you want. Then the decision gets easier.

I was torn between them both when ordering also, the black out package looks soooo good but decided on the platinum in the end and I'm happy with my choice...if I get tired of the chrome I'll just delete it

I went the black out route also. The only chrome is the 7.3L decal I added after the fact.

I went Platinum for a bunch of reasons. I must say that the Black Out looks killer on so many trucks especially the White. I think Bbrett’s TOTM looks so sweet. That being said I think the Platinum with the White is killer also.
I went for the Platty most of all for the interior. I plan on driving my Beast a lot. My wife and I think those massage seats are so unbelievably awesome. Plus they look so sharp and are super comfortable. The steering wheel is much nicer and the Black Faux on door trim and phone charger is just icing on the cake. To each his own.
Either way they are both such good looking rides. I’m not that big in to chrome unless it’s on my Harleys. I will say my wife and I love the chrome a lot more than we could have imagined and n my Silver Platinum. We parked next to a Silver Lariat Blackout FX4 and my friends all said my Platinum looks so much better. I agreed but loved hearing it.
As all on here say, it’s something everyone questions as that Blackout is so popular.

I've got a Platinum in the "star white" and love it !!

Keep in mind, I'm not a big fan of the black out appearance package. I know it's popular (now), but I'm a chrome guy, plus my favorite color is "shiny"!!! LOL No offense to anyone, but I personally think the blacked out wheels and other blacked out parts looks cheap to me. The only time I think the black out "look"....... looks okay is when you have a dark colored vehicle and everything is blacked out. Again that is just me, different strokes for different folks!!

I also like stuff that is a little different, so in day and age where a lot of people are doing the "black out" look, I'm going a different route.

I got my Methods in today. And my Carli Pintop suspension should be in within 2 weeks. I put my order in 13 weeks ago to the day. 8,400$ suspension. Cant wait for my Silver Platty to be all Pimped out the way I want it.

Thanks Bud!! Knee is coming along, PT is truly the key!! I slack a little and I know it, so I've been trying to stay focused and keep on the PT multiple times a day. I actually went back to work (1/2 days) light duty today and I'm just over 3 weeks !!!!

I had a 17' 350 Platinum in Platinum white. Beautiful Truck. The Brunell interior color reminded of a Lincoln. I got tell ya, perfect truck except the front Bumper chipped so easy. Bugs, Stones. 33,000 miles it thrashed. $770 to remove and re-paint. Thats when I traded it for my 450 King Ranch with Chrome Bumpers. Ordering the Tremor I insisted on no Moon Roof or Painted Bumper. That leaves Lariat Ultimate.

I would go with the lariat. The platinum is not worth all the money in my opinion and the lariat looks better

We have the Lariat black out package and like it a lot. Iconic Silver with the Black out looks great together.

I originally ordered a Lariat Black Out but then changed the order to a Platinum. I feel like the black exterior components look cheap since there shiny. If they were flat black more than likely I would have stayed that route. I also dont like the brown trim on the doors in the Lariat. I started digging around to see what it would take to replace them and its a little more involved than what I expected. There is 4 plastic pins that are melted in place so they're really not designed to be changed. I didn't want to wrap them as I wanted something permanent. The Lariat I had on order was loaded so it was very little cost to move up to the Platinum.

I guess I don't get the order a Platinum and then make it look like a Lariat Black thing. In that case, the massaging seats and different leather comes at one hell of a dollar premium. What's the delta there all else held equal? Gotta be at least $7,000.

I wanted the Plat for the options but really dislike all the chrome. I was willing to forgo the additional interior options to avoid the chrome. Ordered 2022 w/ black out and Lariat ultimate. I added some other options like heated steering wheel, camera’s etc. I just can’t do the chrome.

I haven't had a Limited, because I have a dog. Platty's are top shelf. King Ranch's are a guys truck if there ever was. Lariats are a compromise between practical, with comfort being optional. XLT's are where it all started.
