Plastidip vs vinyl blackout

Just got my platinum white tremor and am really wanting to blackout the chrome. Any recommendations on which route to take?

Personally if I had to choose I’d get them professionally painted black. It will by far look the best and is essentially permanent but is the most expensive option.

But if you can’t get them painted then I’d have them professionally Vinyl wrapped it’s a perfect middle ground between looking good but also not being to over priced.

If your looking for the most cost effective then Plasti Dip is the way to go. It’s also the most time consuming to remove if you ever change your mind.

I used a Rustolem plastidip and it turned out great. Plus its technically not a perm change so you can remove, change color, or re paint as needed. Did it on my side emblems, mirror caps, and handles. Next up is the tailgate handle, actually going to have it PTM my OEM color for a great look with a matte black strip.
