Pistol Mount or Magnet

Howdy fellow bad-ass Tremor Owners!

What are you all using for a pistol mount or magnet? I have seen several using the console vault, but I didn't get that option. I'd rather have the pistol out and available when ready.

Also, where did you decide to mount your setup? Post pics if you have them.

G-Code velcro RTI mount inside an E&G center console lockbox.

I have a matching belt slide for when I am at the ranch and can just swap the holstered pistol right onto my belt as well as a handful of RTI holsters for any of the guns I might want to run with.

I use this magnet. Usually only holding a G43x but have never had an issue. Mounted it on the angular dash piece by my right leg.

I have a similar one for my Glock 19. Haven't installed it yet but it seems like it'll hold pretty well aside from jumping speed bumps mine also has a stop at the front to cock the gun if you run chamber empty.

Works great. It ain't the cheapest, but it isn't going anywhere and it is easily accessible while sitting in the front seat. Also almost impossible to see if your front windows are tinted.

My last vehicle I ran a Desert Does It front molle panel and then mounted my holster to that so that it was readily available between my legs for a quick draw. Still need the console safe for storing it when away from the truck during the day if it isn't your CCW. I am considering going this route again but I am still waiting on the half console safes to drop for the '23+ trucks. Any updates on those @Nick@ApolloOptics?

Console Vault is a good option for storage, but is not accessible quickly. I've had one (or similar LockrDown) in every truck and SUV for many years. I haven't ordered one for the new Tremor yet as I am looking for one that does not come all the way up to the top of the console. It would be nice to be able to keep the tray useful. There is plenty of depth so a little could be given up. I am going to call them tomorrow and see if they might be considering a second option. I noticed the very first review on their site mentioned the same issue.

This is the safe you’re talking about. I think. But as @Mister Bevilaqua mentioned above all of us 2023+ owners are waiting very impatiently. Seems like the ideal solution, once it exists…….
