Hey guys I’m new to the forum and I’m excited to share our future adventures. Thanks to everyone’s threads I have made an educated well informed purchase. I’ve been a Ford man for a long time. I started with a 7.3 PS and fell in love. I went to a 2014 f150, then a 2008 6.4 PS. I’m a cop and have a take home car so I put around 3000miles a year on a truck. It basically makes dump runs and hauls the camper. That being said I couldn’t justify another diesel, especially with the 7.3 gas capability. I felt like letting a diesel sit that much wasn’t very good for it. Again, thanks to the threads you guys posted and the camper pulling reviews, I got an XLT with the 603A preferred build package and a few other goodies. I’m flying to Wisconsin to pick her up Friday! I have been researching the tremor since Ford released them a couple years ago. I found one on the lot exactly how I’ve been building them online. I’m hoping the 2021 will be a little more solid and have some of the first year jitters worked out of it. We’ve got a big summer planned pulling our 35’ Coleman lite bunkhouse. Excited to be here and thanks for all of y’all’s excellent reviews!

Congratulations and welcome aboard!!? Glad you were able to find one that suits you. The supply is going to tighten up quickly and I think the custom orders are going to get even tighter. You're doing what the others that are on the fence need to hurry up and do or they will be settling in for a long wait. Wow all the way to Wisconsin from NC, good for you! Sounds like you have some kids with the bunkhouse and all. You all will have a blast in this rig! I agree totally on the 7.3. I know a lot a guys are just really in love with the 6.7 and I understand completely. But from a practical standpoint you came to the right decision, and there's nothing like the sound of an American big block V8 engine! Share some picks, especially of your outings and mods. Well done!

Yea speaking of supply. My wife and I had a bronco on order. We reserved it day 2 and ordered it day 1. With constant delays and finding out we wouldn’t even get our hard top until MY2022, my wife said cancel it and get my truck. I was THEN going to order my tremor, but was then told that it wouldn’t be here any earlier than the bronco. I was lucky enough to find one sitting on a lot and reserved it. It was the closest tremor I could find. I’ll fly there and drive it back over the weekend.

I was also over the maintenance of a diesel and the potential expensive repairs. $4,000 for a turbo just makes me nervous and egr’s and def fluid is just a constant hassle And the extra almost 1,000 payload difference in the motor weight was a huge selling point.

Mods are definitely already planned. I’ve found the winch and bracket setup for $2500 from a dealer instead of the $3000 online. Im
Torn between camper shell or tonneau cover however. Airbag systems are also on the mind for towing.

I'm ordering an A.R.E Z series cap for mine next week. With a toy hauler Travel Trailer we want the additional secure storage. I'll be getting Airlift bags and controller with compressor and air tank installed in the months ahead.

What did the ARE top run you with the color match? I’m a big fan of the ARE stuff.

It's a little over $4000. I got several optional upgrades like the remote lock, lighting upgrades, front window upgrade and Yakama tracks installed on top. Without that stuff you save a few hundred bucks.

Thanks man. This is gonna be the longest week ever waiting for Friday to get here!
Yeah, but it will be an EPIC drive home! I had 1050 miles to drive mine and break it in. My wife kept asking on the ride home, "you want me to drive" I was like nope! She said, "shit, another one I don't get to drive"!
