2021 Ford F350 King Ranch
Hi guys, I did go for the 12K warn winch option when I bought my 2021 F350 tremor king ranch earlier this year, and its great. When I switched out the bumper for a off road Fab Fours bumper, it came with it's own bracket and mounts for a winch. With a little modification the new bumper's mounting worked with my warn winch.
So now I have the brackets that came with the Warn winch but I don't know if I can expect to be able to sell these. From what I am seeing, these special 12k winches only come a a whole kit, winch and all, so will anyone even want just the brackets? Presumably these can be made to work with other winches, but I just don't know.
Do you guys think I should try to list these somewhere?
I did sell the original bumper here locally, so that was cool.

You should try and sell them here. Bet someone would love to have the parts. No idea on price. It's a convenance thing so probably worth more to some than others.

OK Thanks I may do that. They are reeeally heavy so shipping would be ridiculous, but if someone needed them it would save them from the scrap pile.

I would be cautious that the brackets work without the factory winch. It's specially made to fit in the space available. Ford / Warn would not have engineered a new winch if the standard 12K winch fit in there properly. It's not terribly hard to shorten a winch if you have basic fab tools and welding machine. If you shorten is, you'll definitely need to make new mount holes in the brackets. Every bit you shorten it also subtracts from the length of rope the spool can hold.

Yes, agreed, if I do decide to try to sell it, I'd make it clear it may need modification to make it fit another winch.

Thanks for all the replies. If I decide to go ahead and try to sell, I'll probably try for a local pickup only. I'm in Florida, near Tampa / St Pete. I was able to sell the bumper locally on Craigslist, so that may be my first try.
