I have read several of the threads regarding payload and am confused.

I am trying to calculate how much more weight can I haul in my 6.7L, 2021 Tremor, I will not be towing.

This is my weight from a Cat Scale including a full fuel tank (55 gallons), winch, Diamond Back cover, tool box with tools, recovery gear etc.

How much more weight can I carry in the bed of the truck?

1940# that’s the difference between your truck weight and GVWR.

10,000-8,860=1,140 pounds

correction:
10,800-8,860=1,940 pounds

Other folks have it correct for the overall truck.

I’ll note that you only have 100 pounds left on your front axle, so you’re best to put additional weight far back. Obviously the weight you’ve added so far has biased forward.

You have tons of headroom on your rear axle.

I saw that too but wasn't sure if that was normal for the 6.7, or what normal should be. It did seem like little margin though.

On the front, I have factory duel batteries and winch. I have added Fox Stabilizer shocks and ready lift level kit.

Was the Cat weight with you, spouse kids and dog in the truck? If not, that needs to be subtracted from the 1940 and as CCW said, put the additional weight as far back as possible.

Good point. GVWR is TOTAL weight, you, your dog, your ham sammich, whatever you put in the truck.

I'm pretty sure his GVWR is 10800, not 10000. The photo is blurry. My 21, 6.7 F250 is 10800 FYI.
Yeah that pic is blurry AF, if it’s 10,800# add 800lbs to the previous calculation. However put all of it behind the rear axle lol.

Good catch, 4899 kg is clear. Which is 10800 lbs. I'll update my post above to be correct at 1,940 lbs.

Here is my weight with a full 60 gallon tank, toolbox with probably 300 pounds in it, also a badlands off road jack. Also myself @ 275 and a Labadore @ 105!

Yep, I also don’t know if it’s normal. Seems extremely front heavy to me, even for a diesel. I didn’t think the winch was that heavy?

Dual batteries is standard for all diesels. I wouldn’t expect the stabilizers to weigh much? The winch is heavy, but kind of crazy to only have 100 pounds left.

Though your scale numbers are similar to @Lunch Box. So I guess it’s on par? Just checked my truck, a gasser with winch and dual batteries, and I only have 440 pounds spare (me not in the truck).

Fantastic point! @c-ne-elk make sure to account for humans and any other dynamic weight you would be adding for a trip, in addition to whatever you put in the bed.

This might be a stupid question... I recently took a load of junk to the dump and they measured me in and out and the empty weight they showed at their scale was roughly 100lbs lower than what my truck is showing per the sticker. I'm inclined to abide by the sticker on the door, but what could be causing the delta in weight?

I would not remotely trust dump scales. I tried the same thing one time and when I asked the girl my empty weight she looked at the computer confused and said “your are weighing heavier then when you came in”

That is an astonishingly slim margin on the front axle.

I don't imagine it is easy to keep the truck from transferring some weight to the front. Isn't a primary purpose of the suspension (not to mention all of our fancy weight distribution hitches) to do just that?

I can't say I've noticed that being called out in any other threads here where folks have posted scale readings. Worthy of a research project…

What sticker? The factory door sticker does not show an unladen (empty) weight. If you mean the difference between the GVWR and the payload listed on the other sticker, ther seem to be often differences like this. My standard cab dually has about 250 lbs of this phantom weight. i.e., empty it weighs about 250 lbs less that GVWR - sticker payload. In another thread, some have observed that F250s don't seem to have this discrepancy, but F350 seem to. I have not seen an explanation that holds water.

Legally or safely? Legally what others have said, safely look at our Tremors as a F-350 with it's payload and towing capacity...
