Pass Thru wires- Nice Surprise on 22

Did some mods today. Started on the High idle mod first and opened cover to BCM and found nice long pass thru wires right there! Thought maybe Ford changed something, so looked under the hood for the other end before removing wheel well liners, and there they are, towards firewall behind box that has upfitter wires. Easy install thanks to write up from @strogg

Good to know! I have 22' and been wanting to do the high Idle mod. Looks like it should be easy pezy now.

BTW, I have been using these barrel crimp connectors on my pass thru and upfitter wires. This way I can mix & match or change my mind in the future!

Here’s my post that shows a photo of me adding these connectors to some 14 AWG wire which I then soldered as an extension to the existing pass thru and upfitter wires.
