Anybody know or can find out what the part #s are for the rear seat folding headrests? I have a Lariat on order, and it has the fixed headrests, IIRC. My 2013 F150 has the folding and would like to keep that feature. Looking for the black onyx specific part numbers.

The photo below looks like there's a button on the side to fold them, but I was pretty sure Ford did away with including folding headrests.

Thank you :)

Bump. Anyone?

No help, but I also miss the folding rear headrests from my 150. My truck is my DD and normally solo, so would fold them down to get more rear view. Went to fold them down on the new truck and no go. At least mine still has the 4-way adjustable front headrests.

Not ideal, but I may just remove them until the part #s can be found. Rear seats always stay folded up as well.

May be able to find a set from a 15-19 F150. Here is one on eBay, but they are gray

Junk Yard .. Wrecking Yard, or is it Scrap Yard ..??
My favorite was always, Pick-a-Part.
I do my best to stay away from Auto Dismantler's .. around here, used parts cost are stupid. I don't know how much (whatever I ask for) is suppose to cost, but .. I asked .. so guaranteed I just paid for everyones lunch.

What do the buttons on the outside of each head rest do?

They allow the headrest to fold forward/flat. That really opens up the view out the back window.
Not sure why the current 2022 Lariat interior render shows the headrest buttons if they're not installing them in our trucks? ?

this is strait off the FORD 22 F250 Lariat Interior Gallery
Yeah, I posted an image in the first post of this thread that shows the buttons on the side.

Maybe it is like the 4-way adjustable front headrests, depends on what they have around or what bin they pull from ?‍♂️ I'm fairly certain that if one complains, it won't do much good as they will just be told they're lucky to have a truck and if they don't want it, they'll sell it to the next guy in line.

This thread is almost 3 years old, but I just brought home my 2024 F350 Lariat Tremor last week, and was dissapointed that my rear seat headrests didn't fold down. Other that the button to fold them down, I thought they looked just like my rear seat headrests in my '23 Bronco (aside from the material).
Pulled one from my Bronco, and it fit and functioned just fine in my Tremor. I would probably obsess over this, but having the Baja interior makes it much harder to find replacment headrests in the same color, and by early next year I should have my slide-in camper reasdy to install, so I'll have no rear window visibility at that point anyway.
Just thought I'd post this so it might expand other parts vehicles that you are searching for online or in junk yards.
