What suspension is recommended outside of Carli? I really want Carli Backcountry, but I dont know if I can wait 6 monthss. CJC is saying 4 weeks, but I think that might be a sales pitch. I read of people saying 6 months.
I mean, can no other suspension compare in reside quality?

How much lift do you want?

My 02 cent worth is go 5.5 and wait for the Carli 3.5 on a Tremor is not much for the huge wait and price tags. Cheap lift kits are junk better to be stock than to add a junk kit. I decided to go slightly larger and wider wheels and tires and skip the lift kit BS. I am very happy with my 35 x 12.50s and no kit.

Thats up in the air to be honestly. I am stuck between the 3.5” and 5.5” Carli. I dont want a level, but maybe a pinch more.
FYI, the 3.5" is 1.5" and the 5.5" is 3.5" on our trucks, but either one will fit 37s.

Carli is the best suspension for many reasons and the Backcountry is an excellent choice of Fox Remote Reservoir shocks. I ordered mine through CJC in November and they were spot on with their estimate of 8 weeks at the time. The SS end links on the Torsion Sway bar were the only parts that held up the order until the end.

Not sure where you are hearing 6 months, but I guess anything is possible.

Wait...what? Go with the Carli 5.5 but wait for the 3.5?

get the 5.5 Carli do not mess around with a 3.5 lift that will only give you an inch or so.

sorry but you will probably have to wait. a few weeks but worth it.

Really? That small of a difference in lift? What did you go with? I want to run 37’s, but 38’s look awesome. However, in my mind, I feel like 38’s will kill my mileage. Ive also heard people regretting going with 37’s on the Carli 5.5“ kit. Saying the tires look too small.

Oh, and Ive heard that on here and on Carli and Tremor FB groups as far as the 6 month Wait.

I went with the Carli 2.5/1.5" Backcountry, torsion sway bar and dual steering stabilizers. In the back, I have Deaver Add-a-Pack leafs with a 1" PMF block to give me 1 3/4" of rake. I am running 37s and I think they look perfect with the smaller lift height. Plus, my wife is 5'-0", so I did not want to make it any harder for her to get in and out.

You are not buying Carli just for the lift height, but for the overall handling and driveability on and off road. Plus, our trucks are almost 2" higher in the front than other 2020/2021 Super Dutys, so in the end, our 1.5" is the exact same height as a non-Tremor 3.5" lift.

I'd wait for the Carli. All they do is lifts for these types of trucks. They do tons of testing and valve their own shocks. No off the shelf stuff with them

Looks awesome. My wife is also 5’ and I am runnig Lithium Gray. a lot of similarities. I still use my truck and thats why I am leaning towards the 5.5. i tow smokers and put a pallet of BBQ sauce in the bed every so often. about 2,500lbs. I pull my tractor sometimes too but very rarely.

I ordered the Backcountry 8 weeks ago and it was supposed to ship today. What is holding up shipments is Fox shocks. So if you’re looking at other brands that use Fox, you may be waiting the same time. At least that is what CJC said. I ordered the Backcountry 3.5 with full leaf springs.

I know @MTTremor has been waiting 6 months, but don’t know why.

And there your have it..... the sales pitch. Like I said....look at that 6 month wait time. With that being Said,,,it must be the custom tuned Fox shocks from Carli Thats the hold up with the excpetion of the radius arms and torsion sway bar. Basically, the only thing available from Carli MIGHT be the springs. 4 WheelDrive Parts..... the next block from me over, has got me ready to rock with what ever system i wan they carry. 4 links systems, IE....ProComp, BDS, and so on.

In March I bought the Carli 2.5 Commuter minus the Fox Shocks. Reason, it was all in stock. I had everything within a week. The only thing I wanted and didn't get is the Ft Sway Bar, it wasn't immediately available, so I chose the drop brackets for the time being. I'm not a big fan of Fox Shocks. I had them on my 17' F250 and it felt Stiff, it rode Hard compared to my 16' F250 with Bilstiens. On my Tremor I chose Bilstein Shocks and a King, Single Steering Stabilizer. It's only been a couple of days now, but this truck drive closer to a F150 than any Super Duty I've ever owned. I average a new Truck every 12-18 mo.

I have BDS on my Chevy and had no problems, But a few friends have had Stryker Off Road Design lift kits put on there Fords and are pleased. But from what I have been seeing ordering from most look weeks out to “COVID delays”

In this market, readily available parts normally means low demand. I am not sure what is happening with @MTTremor order, but maybe he will chime in to clarify.

I ordered a fully optioned Carli 2.5” (3”) Pintop system (Gas) on December 29th. Two weeks ago my dealer (Texas MotorWorx) informed me that Carli is saying June.

Did they tell you what parts were holding up the order?
