I've been lurking on here for probably a year now waiting to pull the trigger. I'm coming out of a 2017 F-150 Platinum 4x4. Before that I had a 2013 F-150 King Ranch 4x4 and prior to that a 2011 F-250 Lariat 4x4 w/ the first year of the 6.7L so I've been a Ford guy for a long time. I've missed my F-250 since trading it in but at the time just couldn't justify a diesel ¾-ton. I still really can't justify a diesel 1-ton truck but I'm tired of drooling over every Tremor I see on the road or online and wanted to join the club.

Finally hit 80k miles on my current truck and thought I'd sell it while it still has a lot of value in the current market. The new Sync 4 screen in the 2022 Super Duty pushed me over the ledge as well. Placed an order with Granger Ford in Granger, IA this morning for a 2022 F-350. I've been told to expect it in 8-10 weeks but am not getting my hopes up until we get closer and get a handle on how much the chip shortage is delaying production.

Looking forward to learning more and contributing once I finally get my hands on my dream truck!

I see you’re in Florida, why place the order in Iowa?

I'm not sure if it's okay to post a link to another forum on here, but there are good writeups about Granger Ford on the F-150 and Bronco forums. I'll throw up a post about them in the Purchasing forum for everyone to read.

I've bought from 3 different Ford dealers locally to Sarasota/Tampa Bay and have never really had an experience to write home about. They've always been frustrating negotiations that I've left mostly happy. Follow-up after the sale has never been great so I didn't feel married to any of the local dealers.

Granger Ford does things entirely differently than any other car dealership I've dealt with and I highly doubt I could have found a better deal anywhere else. At the number they gave me and with their very low doc fee of $180 and temp tag fee of $45 I'm pretty confident that even factoring in the flight to Iowa and fuel, food, and hotel night to drive the truck back home I'll come out ahead. Even if I don't come out ahead when you really crunch the numbers I'd still rather give Granger Ford my business just because they did more to earn it.

Welcome to the forum @SirFer and congrats on the Tremor order! ? You are going to have a fun road trip back to Florida!
