My dealer said Ford does order sweeps on Thursdays. Anyone know what time they do this? Wondering if I’ll finally get scheduled today or if they do it in the morning and it’s already over with for this week.

Who knows these days???? Try not to get caught up in the day to day tracking, it will drive you nuts. Ask the sales manager when it will arrive and you should be pretty close. I played the game when mine was being built and all along the delivery date from the sales manager was spot on.

Thursday is scheduling day. During the week Ford previews the vehicles that fit production needs and parts availability, dealers have until Wednesday night to make changes, on Thursday Ford will schedule the ones that fit production. Occasionally Ford will have room in production and extra commodities that’s when they do a sweep, as of right now they haven’t been doing any sweeps with parts so hard to get. Superduty that are picked up today will get a build week of 9-7 to 9-27, keep in mind build weeks can change, with this new wave of fabricated pandemic Biden may shut everything down again

Good luck. If your dealer has an allocation it should be scheduled as long as all the options you picked are available. Now if your dealer does not have an allocation, it could be awhile. I believe their computer gets updated on Friday with the orders pulled. My dealer did not have an allocation and it took them 6 weeks to pull the order.

If the dealer will place the order then do the covp your order will get pulled even if they don’t have an allocation. All orders that are covp will get priority scheduling.
