I miss the oil business. I don't miss being gone 200 plus nights a year, but I miss parts of the job.

The money's good but you sure miss out on family time. I've only had 4 days off this month at 12 hour days. I'm not gonna complain cuz the oilfield stayed alive through covid. Very blessed

I'm fortunate in that I don't have to make that kind of money anymore. I work Monday through Thursday 10 hours a day. I don't know how to act with all this time off now. I've been out for 4½ years now. I would consider going back but for a short time only if I did.

I need to focus on paying everything off so I can get a job that takes up less of my time
