I have it on my order. And something to keep in mind with my thoughts: this will be my first winch so take them with an appropriate grain of salt.
Haven't received my truck so I can't comment on whether it was worth it yet, but some things to consider compared to an aftermarket bumper and winch (and things I'm considering that may result in me deciding to remove it from my order):
- The winch is non-standard. If you ever want to replace the winch, you have to get the replacement from Ford. With aftermarket winch mounts they almost all support a universal mounting pattern enabling a multitude of options (many brands and many capacities).
- The winch is buried in the bumper with limited access. This inherently makes winch maintenance more difficult, whether that's fixing the spooling, replacing the rope, messing with the solenoid, or anything else.
- The winch rope is a non-standard (short) length with essentially no room for extra length. Extensions are a thing and preferred over a longer main rope anyways (the less rope on the drum the more pulling power), but if you want to buy a replacement rope other than from Ford/Warn expect to have to shorten it yourself to fit.
Of course there's tons of benefits, too - including cost! By the time you invest in an aftermarket winch bumper and winch you're likely spending more than $3000, especially if you're paying for install. But those are some things I hadn't fully considered when I added it to my order.
