Howdy Folks, recently discovered this cool forum, and had to join. Been a Ford guy all my life. Both Grandpa's were Ford guys, my Dad and my Stepdad were both Ford guys. I just recently sold both my 66 F250 factory flatbed 4x4, and my 66 F600 flatbed dump truck. It broke my heart, there's no denying it. But my back broke first, over 30 years ago, and I just couldn't drive and work on those old trucks any more. So I made the plunge.... I went down and custom ordered a 2021 F250 Tremor, and I sold those old trucks in just 4 days. Order date was Nov 8th "20", got my VIN mid-Dec, and just yesterday it finally went to production. Wow, it's been surreal, like a dream that comes and goes. I'm going to be blown away when it comes in. Never would have imagined spending 80k on a pickup truck. But this is it, my final vehicle. It will out-last me if my old trucks were any indication. It'll be my do everything ride.... road trips, pulling my tractors, pulling my boat, commuting to work, everything. As soon as it comes in I'm going to sell the Toy and buy a dump trailer, and sell the Harley and buy a camper. Big changes. Elvin Bishop says there's 3 phases to life; youth, middle age, and looking good. I'm going to be looking good in my new Tremor.

I'd say you've been looking good all along with those old Fords. Welcome! I ordered 11/18, was built 1/19, shipped 1/22...still a no-show so there's still time to beat me to the finish line ?

What trim/options did you order?

I chose the Lariat, ultimate package, in iconic silver with magnetic two tone. A cowboy cadillac.

Welcome, love the flatbed! My great, great, great grandfather and his brother (Hiram and Reeve) lived in Hangtown in the 1850s. Went on to run the Bald Mountain Mine in Forest City. Nice country down there.
I have not been to Forest City, but I've been to Alleghany. Steep canyon country up there, and lot's of gold. I still do a little panning and nugget hunting here around Hangtown. A mining brother from up North, cool man!

Welcome Potato!
Those trucks are awesome, I’d be heartbroken as well. I would have bought that f250 in a heart beat. My Father had a 61 f100
wish I had it today.
You will absolutely love your Tremor. Post pic’s when you get it, sounds like an awesome color combo.

Welcome and congrats and a GOD BLESS To ya. Great right up. The only thing I would recommend is keeping the Harley. The Tremor is way past my expectations. I’m excited for you to find out for your self. Life is what we make of it and who we share it with.
YOU ARE ALREADY LOOOOKING GOOD POTATO WILSON ?????????✌️✌️✌️
Don ?

Hangtown? As in Placerville?

I don't think so... he mentions Alleghany which is western PA mostly. And Forest City... no town in CA. But Foresthill is not that far away (about 30 miles or so)

Gold panning and canyons are of course ubiquitous to Placerville, so I don't really know what he means.

I lived in P-ville so am curious to what he means. A lot of folks in P-ville will be awfully upset at someone else trying to steal their moniker.
My son, and an aunt, still live in Placerville.
