New User checking in! I ordered an Iconic Silver 2022 F250 in September 2021, and my tracker said it was built on 12/28/2021.

Confession: My first time joining a forum, my first diesel vehicle, and my first time buying a brand new car.

1. Any advice for a first-time diesel owner?
2. Any suggestions on what to check for before signing the paperwork for the F250? I've heard about paint.

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on the truck build.

1. Drive it hard, only buy fuel from high volume service stations.
2. Check for paint/touchup marks, body panel fitments/gaps. Make sure all the options you ordered are on there. Look for scratches in interior.

I would not take delivery if anything still needs to be done to it. My son has been waiting and pestering a dealer for 4 months after taking delivery of a car. They don't give a shit once you sign the papers and take it. And he has it in writing what he is owed. Congrats on your first new car. Maybe look at some Youtube advice channels, like YAA, about buying and delivery.

Congrats on the truck and welcome to the forum. As others have said, look it over very well, push all the buttons, open the windows, do as much as you can to make sure everything works and looks good before you leave. Check the list from CCW posted in the first reply.
