I drive an x3m and looking for a second truck. My wife is taking over my BMW, and I always wanted an F150. I love the overall look of the Tremor. I drove GMC/RAM/Chevy and, for a reason, keep going back to Ford. The only problem is no dealer has this model. I found one here in Texas, Dallas, and it was over 8k asking price. Most dealer has Lariat or XLT with added leather seats at the dealer. I want to order this truck and looking for some help.

What are some must have options? Bigger screen? Which is the best motor? Interior/exterior options? Things to avoid and get it aftermarket.

Recent pricing and current % rate with 720/good job.

I never had a ford or ordered from a Ford dealer. This will be my first time dealing with Ford motor. How do I get started and process?

You may want do a little more research or consider your needs. Asking this question is opening a can of worms, you will get so many opinions that before you know it you’ll be needing an F350 6.7 platinum with all the bells and whistles. First I would determine what is the truck for then decide what options you would like, what works for one may not work for another. Read around a bit and decide what really works for you and your needs.

First question:
1. Do you need the payload and/or do you plan to tow heavy?

If no then get an F150.
If yes and you want off-road capability then you're at the right place.
If yes but don't go off-road then get a stock Super Duty.

There is a saying... mission drives the gear. In other words, to echo what was said before, you really need to identify what you want the truck for and what you intend to do with it.
Without previous experience, it sounds like you don't have anything to tow or haul. Or do you intend to start? How about off road? If not or just your basic fire road, a regular 4x4 may do just fine. Maybe a Ranger fx4 is what you need.... but not "want". When it comes to "I just want xxxx" then the world is your oyster.

Where are you in the US? Members here can help steer you to a reputable dealer. Most likely you will have to order and wait several months for delivery. There's not much on dealer lots and they are marked up.

The new F150 Tremor may be your best choice... I don't know. We need more info from you.

One of the reasons for getting into a truck is off road. Nothing yet for towing or hauling. I'm from North Dallas area.

What type of off road are you doing? Cruising backcountry roads, high speed dirt, tight rough crawling areas, etc? While the tremor is marketed as an off-road vehicle depending on your off road trails it might not be the best option. For example if you’re running high speed trails a raptor type truck will do better.

What’s your second truck? X3M is not a truck.

I disagree. Get a 250 Tremor! Looks capabilities power. None of that can be had with the 150 even with the Raptor.
Considering the 150 lariat cost the same as the Lariat Tremor 7.3 it’s a no brainer.
