After having more punctures, patches and purchasing replacement tires for my Goodyear Duratracs in the last year than my last 3 SuperDuty's combined, I felt it was time to switch the tires up. This was my first vehicle with the Duratracs and although they performed ok with look, noise and handling, they just don't seem as puncture resistant. I have always had either the stock Michelins or Nitto Recon Grapplers; having to only plug maybe 1 or 2 tires over 100,000's of thousands of miles on 4 trucks.

There are so many recommendations, it's tough to choose, but having been a fan of BFG's 20+ years ago, thought I would try them out with the new HD series. Less than 50 miles on them; so far so good but we will see. Here is the look on the Stock Tremor Rims.

What size are they?

Those look good on there! I know several people on here have been curious about this new tire so hopefully you won't mind keeping us up to date on how they work out for you.
Will do. Almost all tires are great the first 100 or so miles. Let's see how it performs after 5, 10, 15k.

I saw those and think they look really good. If I was never going to see snow I would seriously look at them, but I suspect with no siping to speak of the snow performance will be poor. I am guessing you will really like them if you keep them in Texas and away from snow.

I really want to try these but none of the costcos in Colorado had them and the guy at counter had not even heard of them.

I put these on my 2022 on May 1st. City driving for first 200 miles then a trip to the mountains. On the way home, the entire truck was shaking. Took back to Discount the next day and they roadforce balanced again and moved a couple around. More than 2 were an ounce to an ounce and a half off. Still shakes above 70+ mph. Going back tomorrow to get them changed out for something different. I love BFGs but something wrong with these.

I ran several sets of the BFG Mud terrain radials over the years. They were great off road. The last set I purchased (many years ago now) did not ride as well as previous sets and did not balance great.
Please keep us posted on how these do as I have always been a fan.

Will do. I have put ~200 miles on them so far, mostly around town. A few stints on the highway for a short period of time. So far, they are similar in noise level to the Duratracs and no real issues. I'll keep the group up to date as they get some miles on them.

I was considering these or the Toyo RT Trails and ended up with the Toyos and am very pleased with them so far with about 13k miles on them.

That being said, these do look really good on there, curious to see long term results!

Also, hello to a fellow Race Red Tremor! 🫡

I put the KTs on and had issue with balance. A lot of shaking in the truck. Discount said they all came in with high numbers on road force balancing. I changed them for the R/T Trails and love them. Have always had great luck with BFG. Will try again on next set but will try the KO3s.

What niche are these tires supposed to fill vs the K02?

They look very similar.

My understanding is they are for heavy-duty commercial all-terrain use as most of their marketing I've seen has a Super Duty on a "job-site" pulling a skid steer or some other form of mini track loader.

I probably am due for a rebalance because I'm starting to feel slight tremors (womp womp) at highway speeds, but overall, they ride very good and will probably get another set once these wear out.

I also just put a set of them on my wife's 4Runner and we've both been pleased with them on there so far.

They even used a Tremor for a few of their Marketing Shots on the website....they should partner with the forum for a group buy!

If there is a tire that suffers more holes, punctures or flats than a BFG I would be surprised. Ask anyone that hits the trails. The BFG rigs are always getting flats. Hopefully you happen to have better luck.

I loved the BFG KO2's I had (multiple times as I am somewhat of a masochist I guess) for the first 20K I had them. Afterwards, not so much and I can fully empathize with your statement. It seemed if I looked sharply at the damn tire it would need to be patched!
