New Member from Raleigh

Hey all, I’m Jimmy from Raleigh, NC and I have been the proud owner of a 2021 Black 7.3l f250 tremor that I took ownership of about a month ago when I got fed up with working on my 03 6.0 diesel after 200000 miles of ownership. So far I’ve managed to accumulate over 3000 miles in the first month, with the tremor celebrating its 1 month birthday on the beach at Cape Lookout. I look forward to chatting with y’all for the foreseeable future, creating some build threads as I make upgrades and improvements to the truck and chiming in on threads with any knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years. I’m fairly knowledgeable when it comes to the mechanics of a truck and worked on customer cars before college at NC state but I’m excited to become more knowledge about this engine/transmission, off-roading and the loads of other subjects that I have yet to delve into. I’ll attach some pictures of the truck below. Cheers!

Welcome and congrats on the new Tremor! ? How did it do in the sand?

It did really well, ran it in sand mode in 4hi with the tires at 30 psi all around, didn’t feel the need to drop lower since it was doing so well and was worried about air up time. Messed around with rear locker engaged and disengaged and even drove a bit in 2wd and 4lo with the locker engaged to see how it would do. All around it didn’t have much of an issue no matter what mode. I will say in the softer areas it would lug a bit in 3rd gear in 4hi and would scrub off some speed and it needed a bit of throttle to get it to downshift to 2nd. Next time I’ll test it in manual mode a bit as well.
