New from South Lake Tahoe

Hello!

I've been looking for an F-250 for a few months. I was planning on getting a bigger truck and bigger Four Wheel Camper that currently sat in my 5.'5" bed. I was going to buy used, until yesterday I stumbled on an F-250 XLT Tremor package for 5K under sticker at 58K, so I went for it. It's a stripped down version, but it will get me places. My F-150 had all the bells and whistles, but I won't need them. Looking forward to learning a lot about useful mods and everything about using a Tremor. I do go camping in my Bronco on the tighter trails with my two dogs. Have a great weekend!

That’s crazy @Oneand0! Had to chime in since I’m sitting in Tahoe reading your post! Haha

I too have been looking for an F250 Tremor for a couple years now. I get the Xplan pricing from working at AT&T, but most dealers would not sell xplan pricing during the pandemic years (unless you build/order/wait). So I recently found five in the Bay Area that mostly met my wish list, and Manteca Ford had two almost identical builds that were closest of all.

My family had this trip planned to South Lake Tahoe this week… So yesterday, I drove my 2013 FX4 F150 up from San Jose, traded her in for this Lariat Tremor, and two hours later I moved all our luggage/bikes/fishing poles/etc and drove the rest of the way to Tahoe IN STYLE!!!! Haha

I too might get a camper for my Hunting and Fishing camps trips, but the wife “hates how they look” sooooooo yeah…. We’ll see who wins that battle. lol

Anyways, congrats on the truck man!

I’ve been driving through So Lake Tahoe a lot lately coming home from the other side of Carson. Every time I drive down 50 coming from Spooner Pass I see another Tremor. I’m in the dark grey tremor and driving pretty fast (until I get to the state line / casino area) so if you see me wave
