I'm going to keep the original wheels intact and I've been unable to determine the specific part number to order.

Can anyone lend me some knowledge?

Any one know the part number for the 21s?

@BroncoHooves has this part number somewhere. I bought them from RockAuto for my new wheels and they worked fine. I can’t seem to find the number currently. I’ll keep looking

TPMS42

Buy only from Ford direct, RockAuto, or Fairway Ford etc. You will get a knockoff one if you try to save some money on Amazon/eBay.

$53.35 a piece:

$48.79 a piece:

Why do you say to only buy them from Ford?

I bought mine from the local tire store who installed my new wheels/tires and they work fine. I was not trying to save a buck, but wanted all of the work done at the same time by the same company.

Not sure if mine are knockoffs, but as long as the frequency is the same, they will work.

Several of us have received counterfeit sensors. If you have a trusted source you are fine, do not purchase from Amazon, though. They are getting harder and harder to tell - I finally found one word misspelled but it was so small I had to take a pic with my camera to read it.

Glad yours are working. And my post doesn't say Ford direct because I edited it while you were typing your response, since their prices are jacked up high. Fairway Ford is equivalent to Ford direct with way better prices.

Thanks guys. For some reason it’s impossible to look the part up for the 21+ super duties. I had no trouble looking them up for my 19 F150.

For reference:

I couldn't find any other tell-tales on this different from an authentic sensor until I noticed EVERY spelled EVWRY:

My recommendation is also to only buy from Ford, Discount Tire, or Rockauto.

Also, TPMS42 works from 2020-2022 F250 and F350 with no issues as long as it is a SRW/Tremor package - I have not tested with non-Tremor trucks.

100% do not buy from Amazon or eBay unless you want to pay for junk sensors and an extra dismount/remount cycle to put proper sensors back on.

I can’t remember how many sets of wheels and tires I’ve bought from places like rimzone, mr. wheel deals etc. never once had a problem with the tpms’s that came in the tire and wheel packages from these places. Are you guys trying to say there’s something special about the ford sensors or what?

Those are fakes.
Yep, looks exactly like the packaging for the fake ones I received.

@DrSpeed did you already receive and install these? If so, are they working? If not, check my post above and look for spelling errors before you pay to have them installed...

They are not installed yet. Just got them yesterday.

Here are the photos. The spelling is correct, but the laser engraved letters on the back don't match the FoMoCo images I've seen online. And the bag material isn't quite right (too shiney and smooth), and is missing the vent holes.

Is there a way to test them before they are installed?

I have the Ford TPMS19 reset tool and it would not read the counterfeit ones I had. I have heard that may or may not work before the sensor is mounted but it wasn't worth the chance to me. If I have to mount and then remount a tire due to a non working sensor any cost savings have been eaten up and then some... Not to mention the hassle...

is there a feedback loop if it does work or not?
