My iconic silver F-250 was built as expected 8/3/22 . It was supposed to arrive between 8/27 and 9/2 I tried tracking the rail car that it was on but first time it was in New Mexico then Kansas(going wrong direction) then Iowa then Illinois then magically in a1 day it said arrived 8/31 at city of industry in so. Cal. . That is 19 days ago and my dealer kept saying well it will show up someday. I got so pissed from lack of them giving a shit . They responded is it’s Fords problem not there’s. After me asking and telling them to figure it out they say they have checked with Ford rep and still don’t know exactly where it is and don’t seam to care. WTF!

I had a similar situation with my 2020 & It was lost!!
The dealership put in for some type of priority physical tracking or something, where someone had to physically search for the truck.
They finally found out that it was sitting at the rail yard with a damaged tire.
It was waiting for the tire which I guess was on back order at the time.
Delivered almost 45 days later!!

Luckly I had no issues with the shipping but I had no way of knowing that until the truck showed up. I tried the rail car number and it showed nothing from Kentucky until, boom, it showed up in Winston-Salem. Then nothing until it showed up at the dealer. Then they said it was ready but when I got to the dealership, they hadn't even checked it in off the back lot. I had to wait around until they inspected it, cleaned it, and after waiting all day I just went home that night without it. Picked it up the next day after the bed liner dried. Frustrating.

Most likely sitting in the rail yard, not necessarily with damage though. I experienced this with mine where the railcar started going the wrong way... Turns out my truck and @Bluezilla truck were just subject of a yard that was way backlogged and it took several weeks to get out.
I bet it was damaged in transit and waiting for the rail yard to fix whatever like mine. Dealer can find out if they give a crap and ford seems rather useless in this situation too at providing any good information.
Your dealer sounds like an idiot though and can't figure out they don't make money if vehicles don't show up to sell.
Unless there's a know issue with backups at the rail yard and transport I would suspect damage. You can see if other new trucks are showing up at the dealer and check their build dates to gauge that too.

I'm sorry brother for your situation. Post the dealerships name so others will stay away. I would tell everyone to avoid Newins Ford in Bayshore LI NY. THEY SUCK. Hang tuff. My suggestion is always to say a Prayer and ask Our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST for strength and guidance. HE is always there for those who trust and call upon HIM. Again Hang Tuff. Yep, our trucks were stuck for a few weeks. This is not an uncommon occurrence lately especially with limited #'s of semis to do transport and rail yards getting packed with new vehicles and nobody to haul them. Once they're in the yard, it's luck of the draw based on where in the yard your truck is positioned.
If your in Oceanside I don’t remember which dealer but one of them near LA had two close matches ( dealer ordered and in transit which is how I managed to find one) to what I wanted. same timeframe delivery as the one I got. Only they wanted $10,000 on top of msrp. I laughed when the salesman said that.

Well i guess i give up on the Tremor. Truck is over a month late past the first scheduled delivery date. On my 3rd rescheduled dates now and no one at Ford Marketing,Ford Customer Service team or my dealer can locate my truck,mostly because they dont try and have one excuse after another . I have a appointment to pick up my new four wheel camper on Oct.7th and i need a truck. The only Ford dealers around that have trucks are charging $10,000 to $18,500 over msrp so i'm screwed. Drove by the Ram dealer and they have a few 2500's that will do and guess what there at MSRP i called to verify. Setting up a test drive for tomorrow and if i dont have any good news from Ford guess i'm getting a Ram. Worst part is i had a perfect f-150 i sold a few weeks ago when it actualy seamed i was getting the Tremor. Oh well my son has a very nice Ram and guess i'll have one too!

I did the rail car tracking that I don’t think was ever accurate. They did locate it supposed last week stuck in Missouri but no info if it’s moving my way or not. What a frustrating situation. I can get any info from ford or help finding it . I’m giving it till Friday. If no definitive date then buying a Ram. Live and learn. I guess

I guess my situation isn't so bad. Mine doesn't show a rail car in the dealer VVR but says shipped 9/20 with delivery 9/23-9/29 but nothing yet. Some people get them early and others get crickets. Hopefully you get some good news before Friday and it comes before Oct 6th.
I’m in the same boat with you(maybe literally). Our trucks both shipped on 9/20 to Michigan. My estimated delivery is 9/25-10/1. If you have gotten a call, I’m not feeling great about my chances of an on time delivery. Did you see Modman’s comment above where he said that his and bluzilla’s trucks were stuck in an overcrowded rail yard for several weeks? I’m starting to think that our trucks are in the same situation.

Yeah, I saw it and have chatted with him about this as well. I'm hoping that doesn't happen but I guess there is no need for my truck now just a very strong want and lots of inpatients.
I do assume we will get delivered on separate trucks though so there is a chance you get yours first. I hope we both get them within your delivery window.
